  • "A lovely cottage and very worthy of the 5 stars have given."

Great location for visiting the Dales. Walks from the door and Skipton is just a 5 min drive away, or various walks to Skipton which we also enjoyed. The owners have made a fantastic job on the conversion. They also provided a very detailed folder with things to do in the area, restaurants, cafes, walks, places to visit etc. Would recommend to others, looking forward to a return visit.

Thank you for your lovely feedback. We hope to see you again. Property Owner

  • "Please indicate that this cottage is a considerable walk to the town centre, not "just outside Skipton" as your details."

Too far to walk for anyone who is not a regular walker.

Thank you for your feedback. The text describing the cottage and its location does twice reference the fact the Foxstones is some 2 miles from Skipton centre. We feel this is very clear and accurate. Property Owner

A totally rural and very beautiful setting whilst only a stones throw from Skipton . So much to see and do locally. A very cosy property with every facility we could possibly want.

  • "The cottage was lovely, the perfect size for two."

It was beautifully clean and has been very tastefully and creatively developed as part of this barn conversion. There are lovely touches such as the beautiful beams in the bedroom, the fabulous brass bed and the cosy wood burning stove in the sitting room area. Caroline and Alan who own the cottage and live next door were very welcoming, helpful yet unobtrusive and fonts of knowledge about the local area. The location is delightful, good walks straight from the door and easy drives up on to the moors or further afield for outstanding beauty spots such as Malham Cove.
