Thank you Debbie for our stay at the lovely little village of powfoot.

The annexe has everything you need for a home from home feel. The sandpiper bar situated on the Queensbury caravan was only a short drive or a little walk if able bodied where you can enjoy a pint and a meal. The Gretna Green designer shopping outlet is a great place for bargains. We found a lovely pub for food in Dumfries called The Lockard farm , food was so nice we went back for a 2nd meal. The Boathouse cafe in Glen Caple is set right beside the water and it’s such a pretty place to visit for tea & cake or light lunch. Debbie is a fantastic host and looks after you very well.

An very pleasant property (Not so much a holiday cottage more a small 5* hotel as part of the owners property.

Extremely well furnished and equipped. Our host (Debbie) was very friendly, welcoming and hospitable and helpful in providing lots of local information. The provision of sandwiches and cake on our arrival was a nice touch.
