A lovely spotlessly clean cottage which is very spacious and has everything you need for a relaxing holiday .

It is in a lovely quiet location but only 40 mins walk into ribchester village or there is a bus stop literally 150 yards up the road which will take you to where you want to go from Preston to Clitheroe . At night because it is only surrounded by fields the dark skies can be enjoyed by star gazers while relaxing on the terrace . Inside the house is huge with 4 bedrooms with very comfortable beds a large bathroom living room massive kitchen and lovely lounge all separate rooms .There is also a games annexe with various games to enjoy. Parking for 1 car in private drive and extra room at front of house for 2 or 3 more . Short 5 min drive from the cottage is a lovely village called Hurst Green when there is a lovely circular walk called the Tolkien trail it is over 7mile but mainly on easy to do tracks with beautiful scenery and a lovely pub at the end . The owner Kathryn was easily reached by text and would come straight around if she was needed and always replied to any questions or issues we had .Also the lovely welcome hamper was much appreciated after a long drive . To sum up it us a lovely well equipped dog friendly spacious cottage in lovely surroundings with other places easily accessible by car bus or on foot .

Stoneycross Cottage is a lovely property; bright, airy and comfortable with beautiful countryside views.

I went with my three daughters and two granddaughters, 6&7 years old. The little ones particularly loved the games annex, where they could play safely and independently, allowing us grownups to sit, chill and chat. All in all it was a super relaxing weekend.

We had a great stay at Stoneycross cottage.

The property was really clean and well kept and had everything we needed. We had one small issue while there and Peter, the owner was straight round to sort it and it was lovely to meet him. Although the garden is small the views are fantastic which makes it a great area to sit out in. The local area is well worth visiting. Would highly reccomend.
