What a beautiful cottage in Ingleton.

We all had an amazing time and it was so nice i didnt want to leave and could easily have moved in - beautifully decorated, comfy beds, beautiful scenerey i even loved the crockery. We had some lovely days out to ingleton caves and nature walk, a local childrens farm and play area (rainy day). The pump track was brilliant so take the kids bikes and net fishing in the river by the farm. The kids loved to see the baby calves and feeding them, that was an extra special moment we were lucky to have. Check out the amazing award winning bakery in ingleton too - omg so good. I will def be back

Very friendly and welcoming Comfortable and quiet great views and outlook. Situated in a beautiful area with lots to do.

We stayed in Ingleton for a bit of a walking holiday mixed with some sight seeing and general relaxing.

The property was ideally positioned for all of that. It was close to the town and a main road link but also felt rural and secluded enough for peace and quiet. The cottage was well turned out and cosy and was ideal to relax in the evenings. Plenty of space and storage. A home from home. The owners were easy to reach and very accommodating. All in all, a great stay, recommended.

Meadow View Cottage is such a beautiful space.

The owners have provided a high end finish and the cottage is extremely warm and comfortable. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable. The location is also exceptional and walkable to both Ingleton village and the fabulous Marston Arms. We hiked out every day from the cottage and barely moved the car for the whole week. Would highly recommend

Within easy walk to the numerous pubs/restaurants/ shops in Ingleton and also The Marton Arms in nearby Thornton in Lonsdale.

We have just returned from a wonderful 6 night stay at Meadow View Cottage.

From the moment we arrived, it felt warm and welcoming. The property was spotless, beautifully presented, and had everything we needed for a comfortable break. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were cozy, the bathroom luxurious, and the underfloor heating made it feel extra special. The location was perfect: peaceful and quiet, yet close enough to local shops, walking trails, and scenic spots. We left feeling relaxed and recharged, and would happily return again. Highly recommended

The beds were so comfy and warm.The surroundings were peaceful and beautiful considering we weren't far from a busy main road,we couldn't hear the traffic. Easy to get to Hawes,Skipton,Kirkby Lonsdale and the lakes.Would love to return soon.A great base for exploring this lovely area.

We had a wonderful stay at Meadow View: the property is very well equipped and kitted out to a high standard.

It's a beautiful property in a beautiful location and perfectly situated for days out. The owners were extremely accommodating, going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for our young children.

Absolutely love this place So clean and comfy Great base for getting to the lakes Everything you could need we all loved it didn't want to go home

Great cottage , like a show home , would recommend highly.

Walking distance from the village centre and also with the 2 foot walls you don't hear a thing from outside or the attached properties. We had a dog and you can take a short walk down the track and round the small campsite for exercise , they even have a doggy towel for wiping paws.

Warm and cozy comfortable cottage.

We had a lovely Christmas break, great location for visits into ingleton for a variety of food and drink options. Locals very friendly and made to feel welcome. A variety of walks from the door including ascending Ingleborough and the well known waterfall walk.

Cottage was finished to a high standard in a perfect location to visit and explore the Yorkshire Dales.

Will definitely return.

We have just come home from a lovely stay at Meadow View.

It is a well maintained property on a working farm, the children enjoyed seeing the sheep and cows each day and were offered to bottle feed the lambs although unfortunately we ran out of time, the owner’s mother even brought over a little tractor and trailer toy for the children to play on. My only criticisms are that it was a bit hectic stripping the beds etc when trying to check out for 10am with two small children and the mattress topper in our room made a rustling noise and seemed to make it very warm when we were in bed. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

A lovely well equipped house located in a lovely area and ideal for the Yorkshire dales and the Lake District.

The owners could not do enough for us and even included the logs for the fire! We really enjoyed our stay and didn’t want to leave and would recommend the property We hope to return soon.

This property is amazing.

Modern and equipped with all that you need. There is now an extra chair in the lounge which we found useful with four adults being in the property. We will definitely stay again when we return to this area.

Set in beautiful surroundings. We enjoyed our little family break and would definitely return. Loved having the hens running past the window and watching the birds feeding from the feeders at the front.

Easy to find and in an excellent location to enjoy the Ingleton waterfalls, climbing Ingleborough, white scar caves. Very helpful owners who responded to any queries very efficiently.

The property is stylish, well equipped and finished to a very high standard. The weather during our visit wasn’t very kind so we appreciated the underfloor heating and how warm the property felt. We were particularly impressed with the cleanliness of the cottage - absolutely spotless. We found the bed very comfortable and the thick pile carpet added a touch of luxury. All the little touches such as nice quality hand soap, welcome pack etc showed real thoughtfulness. The directions provided by the owners was easy to follow and on site parking a real bonus with the village shops and pubs/cafes within walking distance. Highly recommended

We have used Sykes to rent cottages all over England and Wales seven times in twelve months they have all had different values all the northern cottages have been excellent and no change with meadow view exceptional property fully equipped some we didn't even expect like dog blanket,towel bowls and toys brilliant But everything has been so well thought out and matching crockery pans etc white goods were all in great working order everything and I mean everything was superb cleanliness is always expected but this was on a different level so much work has been put into this cottage and it's a gem It's on a working farm joined to a beautiful campsite for caravan and motorhomes But so peaceful and quiet Walking distance to Beautiful Ingleton which is a bonus and five minute walk to brilliant shop/restaurant 'country harvest' so close to lots of walks,climbing waterfalls and caves beautiful area we will definitely be coming back

Absolutely beautiful cottage and immaculately presented.

Very comfortable and everything has been finished off with such effort and care - we noticed and appreciated all the small touches like the hand written note on arrival, the baby books in the room (our little girl thoroughly enjoyed them) and the brilliant selection of utensils in the kitchen. Only tiny bits of feedback were that the bathroom and the downstairs loo locks were very difficult to lock (we were all a bit worried about getting locked in!!) and it wasn't clear where we should leave our recycling at the end of our stay. Would recommended to anyone in a heartbeat. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Everything done to a very high spec! Excellent location if you doing the three peaks walk! We go away often walking and this is by far the best place we’ve stayed and will be returning!

Wonderful property finished to a great standard.

Everything was really high quality and we had an amazing time. No expense was spared on furnishing the property. Had everything we would need for a one week stay and was very quiet and peaceful. Great access to the fells and country shop next door.
