Thank you for your feedback and for choosing Fogga Croft. We’re so pleased you enjoyed your week, found the cottage comfortable, and appreciated the welcome basket and hot tub. We note your comments on accessibility. While we are not marketed as an accessible property, we will ensure our website and Sykes listing clearly state that there are steps to the kitchen and hot tub, and that the shower trays are raised and without grab rails. Guests with mobility needs may therefore require assistance. We also now have a 360° tour of the interior of the house, available on request. On the practical side, we’ve taken on board your notes about the induction hob — the short “how-to” video is already in our Welcome Guide, sent before arrival, but we’ve now also placed a link next to the cooker and will highlight it again in our pre-arrival email. Regarding location, following your feedback we’ve put together a list of lovely short walks nearby. The lake pictured in earlier marketing is for residents of the hotel opposite, but guests can enjoy it when using the hotel facilities, for example a coffee on their beautiful terrace — we’ve asked Sykes to remove the photo to avoid any confusion. The road in front can be busier during summer days as people travel between the Lakes and Dales, but evenings and mornings are generally peaceful. Our neighbours are currently carrying out renovations to a beautiful historic property, and we’re in regular contact with them — they’re very mindful of minimising any impact on our guests. We’re glad you enjoyed the kitchen, the comfort, and our prompt communication, and we’ll continue to maintain and improve facilities — including regular deep cleaning of the BBQ and keeping a plentiful supply of tea towels.
