Description
This stone-built cottage rests in the delightful village of Giggleswick, North Yorkshire.
Boasting character features over two floors, Rose Cottage welcomes families and couples looking to escape everyday life and explore the wonders of North Yorkshire.
After a day of fell walking, retire to the charming sitting room to catch up on your rest, appointed with plush seating and a cosy woodburning stove which is sure to be used in the winter months.
The kitchen is compact but comes well-equipped with all the essentials for home-cooking, including an electric double oven, halogen hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and even a dishwasher, so you won’t have to raise a finger when cleaning up!
Move upstairs and discover the bedrooms; the master houses a king-size bed whilst the second room has a single, each neutrally presented and featuring ample storage, both beds filled with cosy feather duvets.
The cottage has no designated parking however there is ample street parking opposite.
Get to know the picturesque Dales village of Giggleswick, home to two fantastic pubs where you can refuel with a pint and pie, or head to Settle to find the nearest convenience store if you fancy cooking yourself.
With a myriad of paths, lanes and bridleways from the doorstep, guests can experience walking and cycling through some of the most scenic countryside in the Yorkshire Dales, whilst for the more experienced and energetic guests there is plenty of the famous Three Peaks challenge.
Other attractions in the area include the wonderful Falconry Centre and the stunning Carlisle Railway line, recognised as being one of the most scenic railway routes in Britain.
Rose Cottage is a welcoming escape, whatever time of year.

What guests are saying
This is probably a lovely cottage in the summer although there is no outdoor area but we were froze.
The thermostat was set to 17° so the heating never came on and it was cold after we'd been out all day. There is no information at all for the cottage so we couldn't adjust the heating. Other guests had left messages to Google the system, which we tried but we couldn't find our thermostat. The only contact number given is for Sykes and that rang out over the weekend. The log burner was great but it took some time to heat the room. A shame really because it's a stunning cottage, and the area was perfect for us with great walks and transport.
Lovely, comfortable cottage.
Has everything you need in the kitchen . Really good mattress in bedroom and great shower.
This was a wonderful accommodation, perfect.
It was within walking distance of Settle where there were pubs and cafes. The only downside was that there was no outside space at the back but we managed.
