What guests are saying
Beautiful cottage, well maintained, very clean in tranquil surroundings of pastures and fields, with a stunning view of Ingleborough Ridge/ Pen-Y-Ghent.
Would strongly recommend.
The living room and bedroom were a good size and comfortable.
It is located on a christian refuge, with one of the people running the refuge keen to highlight that. Within a short time of being at the property he told us to move our car as we were not allowed to park outside the front door of the rental property. The bedroom and bathroom of the property are both slightly lower than ground level, both look out onto the parking area, which is fequented by the Christian refuge and various other workmen. Opening the bedroom curtains gives a direct view into the bedroom. Going to toilet has an equal lack of privacy with the exception of some opaque glass. The private patio area mentioned is also below ground level alingside the main drive, so has no privacy. People and vehicles regularly pass by at head height. The patio was also frequented by a dog and an old lady further impacting the lack of privacy. The garage to the neighbouring property is underneath the living room, so we were regularly disturbed with the noise of of opening and closing, along with a noisy motorbike which was left running for long periods of time. Any refund you can offer against the rental cost would be appreciated.
A very comfortable and well thought out barn conversion in a beautiful part of the country.
We loved every aspect of it and there’s so much to do in the area. It was a joy to sit on the little balcony on an evening, enjoying the spectacular view of Ingleborough and the surrounding countryside.
