Was a beautiful house, Had everything you needed & much more.

It was a 5 star stay.

We enjoyed a lovely weekend away at Waters Edge lock view.

Beautifully designed holiday let tasteful decorations and finished to a very high standard. Ideal location for a couple, our dog loved his morning walks along the canal. Gargrave is a nice village that has two good pubs, a local Co-op and a very good chippy. Great location to explore the surrounding areas. We enjoyed trips to Skipton and Grassington. Everything you could wish for was provided in the lodge by the hosts Nicola and Kyle, who are readily available if you require help with anything during your stay. I was delighted to find such a beautiful let that was dog friendly. We would love to return in the future. Also a thoughtful welcome package of wine, milk and chocolate was a great addition.

The property inside spotless clean and comfortable, but outside area both balcony need a good sweep and jet wash theIndian stone both doors to access outside in need of a good clean full cob webs.

Ifthis was already done would been fantastic just let property down on ratings.

I would only wish to indicate that it isn’t several steps up from the front door to the living area, but a full staircase.

Beautiful place on the canal, kitchen is well equipped and the most comfortable bed. Perfect location to relax and unwind.

Location along side the canal offered easy walking in both directions.

We had the most relaxing stay in this gorgeous property, the nicest place we have stayed and we have been on many weekends away.

The hot tub and that beautiful copper bath were stunning features, it really was the most peaceful weekend. We absolutely loved The Dalesman cafe and were spoiled for choice with the traditional sweets and then had the loveliest Sunday enjoying a walk along the canal and the roast we had at The Old Swan was divine. Could not recommend this place enough and we would absolutely book it again.

We had an amazing few days away.

The property is just stunning, really has the ‘wow’ factor. We did some beautiful walks, to ingleton waterfalls about 30 min drive, and ingleborough nature trail and cave. We also walked from the property along the canal to Skipton which was about 5 miles, then opted for train back which literally took 5 mins back to gargrave. Owners very friendly and on hand if need anything. Would 100% return again without hesitation.

We had an amazing 3 restful nights in this beautiful cottage which clearly has been done up to the high level of attention to details and decor.

The Jacuzzi is certainly the highlight of our stay as well as the bottle of wine and chocolates as a welcome gift plus a pint of milk. These gestures are so important and makes the entire experience sextra special. The fact is is dog friendly was a big plus for us as we don't go anywhere without our pooch who also enjoyed his quiet walks along the canal which is situated just off the cottage. The bed was remarkably comfortable and spacious. Loved it! Would without any doubt recommend and will definitely be back! A couple of minor suggestions but NOT a complaint... Just some improvement opportunities

Lovely little bolt hole convenient for Malham and Settle.

Nice to find tea, coffee and milk on arrival. Lovely pub nearby. Don't recall seeing in the listing the hot tub automatically turns off at 9pm but it wasn't an issue for us.

This was a beautifully presented apartment.

We loved its location and enjoyed watching wildlife and boats on the canal. There are a few good places to eat and shop within the village and interesting places to visit if you travel a little further than that. Thank you for our welcome gifts and our fabulous little holiday!

The property was exactly if not better than advertised, very clean and comfortable with some amazing little touches.

The owners were very attentive with texts before our stay and meeting us at the property to show us how everything worked. Could not recommend this place enough

The property was very well presented and the decor and furniture provided was very good.

The two flights of stairs are a challenge to older people to get their luggage up into the bedroom. The village centre is only a short walk and the local pubs and restaurants are very good. The view over the canal was excellent. We would definitely go again.

The house is 1st class, you should be very proud of all the people involved.

I will definitely be booking again. It is a lovely area to visit & see in all Englands various seasons. The fasilties are excellent. You are able to travel around by car, bus, rain or walk. Keep up the good work.

We have just returned from a wonderful weekend at waters edge lock View.

The cottage is stunning, newly build to a very high standard, with beautiful extras such as the copper roll top bath, a lovely balcony overlooking the canal & the private hot tub area. The owners were lovely and made the key pick up easy and were very pleasant and helpful. We loved it and will be returning, I would recommend to anyone, you won't be disappointed.
