Description

A superb 16th century detached stone-built barn farmhouse, set on the owner's farm and equestrian centre, three miles from Hebden Bridge.

Lovingly restored, this cottage is full of character, and seamlessly combines many original features such as exposed stonework with modern, contemporary design and furnishings.

The cottage has a delightful sitting room with a warm and cosy woodburning stove, a first-class shaker-style kitchen, and three lovely bedrooms, all of which are en-suite and one is on the ground floor.

Set on a high hillside with wonderful views a short walk away from the property, and excellent walks in every direction, this is a wonderful cottage.

Lively Hebden Bridge is just down the road, with its interesting nightlife, curiosity shops and the 'old cinema' where they serve tea and scones at the interval.

Enjoy walks from the doorstep across the Brontes' beloved moors, visit the village of Heptonstall with its two historic pubs, or explore the home of the Bronte sisters in nearby Haworth.

With the bustling town of Skipton also within an easy drive, this is a superb cottage at any time of the year.

A great place to stay, and while it may be an 8 minute walk into town it does involve going down - and back up - approx 200 steps, which would have been good to know in advance.

Stables cottage is very much a home from home.

It is extremely well equipped throughout the property and the owners are very friendly and on hand if you have any queries or problems. The welcome box was much appreciated after a long drive especially the additional cookies, cake and large bowl of fruit. We are definitely hoping to visit again.

What a beautiful comfortable cottage with every thing you could need.

It was an exceptionally hot week but the thick stone walls made it a pleasure to come back to. It was lovely to walk thru the stables in the evenings and see the horse who all came to see you. Set within such beautiful country side. We met Andy the owner several times a very nice and informative man. If your looking for a peaceful holiday walking distance to a great pub with food, this is it A
