Description
A delightful, first-floor annex set above a garage within the owner’s grounds, in the idyllic hamlet of Gautby, Lincolnshire.
Enjoying a rural setting with off-road parking, Barn Own Annex provides an idyllic stay for couples looking to break away to Lincolnshire.
After a day of roaming the countryside, the open-plan living space will welcome your return, home to all the essentials for a weekend away; make use of the well-equipped kitchen for home-cooking before gathering at the dining table and tucking into a feast.
Take a seat on the sofa and catch up on your favourite TV shows before whiling away to the shower room for a freshen up.
As the night rolls in, venture to the king-size bed to catch your rest.
To the outside of this charming annex is a little garden with sitting out area, providing superb views across open countryside.
Nearby lies Woodhall Spa with its outdoor heated swimming pool, ideal for a pamper day, whilst the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Visitor Centre offers an emotive and fascinating insight into those times.
This superb location finds you close to the many old Georgian market towns of Horncastle, Spilsby, Louth and Lincoln, with many cycle routes, footpaths and nature reserves in easy reach.
Head to the city of Lincoln and uncover the imposing castle and cathedral, followed by an afternoon of retail therapy and a restaurant meal.
Barn Owl Annex provides a great base for those looking to escape to Lincolnshire for a little while.

What guests are saying
The accommodation is second to none, very comfortable and as clean and modern as one could wish.
The hosts are very friendly and helpful too in the event of any problems. We would be very happy to return there and to recommend it to any others who fancy a break in Lincolnshire. The accommodation is isolated and thus very quiet. As for Sykes' Cottages 'What'sApp' help line it was about as useful as a handkerchief in a storm. We found that if we did not reply to them within half an hour they ended the 'chat' which meant that we had to begin all over again. When one is driving around on holiday one cannot respond to texts. Their system needs to be more patient, and also less long-winded. All I wanted to know was whether or not there were towels provided at the accommodation, yet to get and answer I had to go through a long winded palaver, providing them with information which I had already provided.
Great accommodation for a last minute break.
Everything that we needed, spotlessly clean, cosy & comfortable. Warm welcome from the owners. Plum bread & milk much appreciated.
A lovely place to stay, nice and cosy!
