Wonderful stay at Eggleston House!

We would 100% recommend to family/friends. Large garden for the children to play, including a secure area for our dog. The owner also allowed us to bring a BBQ. Plenty of local attractions in the area. A travel cot and high chair is available on request. It would be useful for this to be included in Sykes Cottages listing. There was no kitchen spray, bin bags, or tabs for the washing machine which would have been useful, particularly with young children and a dog. We contacted the owner and this was promptly rectified. Finally, the toilet door on the GF did not lock, and the bathroom door on the FF did not stay closed or lock. We had to use the wooden bath board to keep the door shut and maintain any privacy.

We had a great time staying at this beautiful house, in its peaceful setting, but not to far from lots of lovely places to visit.

Very spacious, lots of room for all the family. The garden was great for the young children to play. The hot tub was a lovely. The house was well equipped the owners thought of everything. The only things we found was the handle on the door in the upstairs bathroom was very hard to open and myself and another family member got our fingers caught between the handle and the lock. Also no terrestrial tv. But this did not stop us from having a lovely holiday.

We had a lovely, relaxing stay.

So much space in the house and outside. Perfect and comfortable. We could imagine this property being perfect for a stay at any time of year - cosy in the winter, space outside in the summer. Great communication and organisation for our stay. Thank you.
