This apartment is in an ideal location in the old part of town which made it easy to walk everywhere.
The accommodation was clean and comfortable, the sash windows are lovely for letting the breeze in and doing a spot of people watching, the only downside to an old building is the steep stairs and low door frame (bathroom) which my husband kept banging his head on. We had a very enjoyable few days and I would happily stay again.

Madje apartment was perfectly situated in the Bailgate area, which is a two minute walk to the Cathedral and Castle, shops, bars, eateries, gift shops and other beautiful ancient buildings.
There is 24hour parking (£10.70) in the Westgate car park, a short walk behind the apartment. Lincoln has some fascinating history and if you go on the guided tours in the Cathedral and Castle, you'll learn a lot about the history of the buildings and the immediate area. We visited the Aviation Museum, holding the Lancaster and Mosquito aircraft, and the Bomber Command Memorial, which was also very interesting. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and the basket of goodies was much appreciated. Thankyou Helen and Ian (owners) for a great week, and great communication. We would stay here again if in the area, and would recommend to friends.
