  • "Lovely cottage and great where it was, easy access to all coastal towns."

. only thing would say is the courtyard probably be better divided into two, specially when the other cottage hasn’t got dogs or does have dogs.. try the New inn lovely pub and food the little Italian but recommendation are in the book they provide with the cottage, definitely will go back xx

  • "Super place for people with more than 1 dog, we had 3, not many places allow more than 1."

The owners were very relaxed, friendly and helpful. The cottage was well equipped and laid out. Good value for money.

  • "Overall, very comfortable, particularly the beds and pillows."

Owners very accommodating and helpful. However, this was our first experience of a combi boiler, which needed repairing through our stay, we could cope with that, but we now understand that power showers are not compatible with combi boilers. The shower pressure was awful. My husband cannot get in and out of a bath, so needs a good power shower. In the future, we will not be staying at a property that has a combi boiler. There is also a lot of water wastage waiting for hot water to cone through.

  • "Very friendly warm welcome and brewing up/biscuit kit!"

! Beautiful surroundings and lovely accomodation only improvement would be if either one of the showers was more powerful (possibly a water pressure thing) but otherwise no complaints; fabulous, peaceful home from home!

Great day trips to Lincoln, Mablethorpe, Cleethorpes, Louth and Hull. Amazing scenery and loved the nature reserve and sand dunes down the road. Well equipped and clean facilities, beautiful and quiet. Can thoroughly recommend.

very peaceful with lovely views and within easy reach of a lot of lovely places to visit. Everything you could possibly need is provided. I went with my 89 year old Mother who found it ideal for her and her little dog who loved the walks right by the property. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to anybody.

  • "We had a nice short stay in this property and although it was very windy it didn’t stop us doing the things we wanted ."

We took two people in their mid eighties and the property suited them very well except they couldn’t open the front door very easily from the inside as there’s no door handle just the Yale lock and it stuck a bit, probably due to the damp. Also just to make you aware the shop is no longer open in the village although there is a co-op in the other direction but you’d need to drive to it and the nearest pub is also closed. If you don’t mind a short drive The Prussian Queen in Saltfleetby or The Queens Head in Legbourne both did lovely meals.

The cottage was very comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped, ideal for self catering and the welcome pack was a nice touch. My only "negative" comment is that I would have appreciated a shelf and a few coat hooks in the bathrooms and all would have been perfect!

  • "A fantastic cottage, with everything any family could want."

The kitchen was well stocked so meant that you didn't have to use the dishwasher too often because you had run out of clean dishes. The washing machine was quick and efficient with a drier available to use. The cottage on arrival was clean and tidy with all of the bed made up with lots of towels for everyone. The owners were friendly and and had kindly provided milk and biscuits along with tea and coffee which we gratefully used after our long journey. Only one thing which could have improved it was a little thicker curtains or lined curtains as it was quite an early wake up call in the morning due to light curtains (and I'm being picky here). Thank you for a wonderful holiday cottage, we will be recommending to others.
