We had a wonderful stay at Ryeby Garth and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful break in East Riding.

The cottage is charming and deceptively spacious, situated on a very quiet rural street. It is beautifully and tastefully decorated, combining plenty of character with a clean, modern twist. Everything was also exceptionally clean on arrival. We were given an amazing welcome basket containing fruit loaf, Tunnock’s Teacakes, cookies, tea, coffee, sugar, and even milk and spread in the fridge – such a lovely and thoughtful touch after a journey. The owners had also thought about our four-legged guest, providing dog treats, bowls and even tags with the property address on them for us to use during our stay. We particularly appreciated this thoughtful attention to detail. The garden is fenced and reasonably secure, allowing small to medium-sized dogs to enjoy some freedom under supervision. There was a small gap between the wire and the top of the fencing which initially made me a little nervous, but our dog never attempted to jump through it, so it wasn’t an issue for us. Another real bonus was the garage, which we were able to use to park our car safely and securely. Ryeby Garth was the perfect base for exploring the beautiful coastal locations and beaches in the area with our dog. It was lovely to return to such a peaceful and comfortable cottage after a day out exploring. Overall, we all had a fantastic stay at Ryeby Garth and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable and dog-friendly getaway in East Riding. We would happily stay again!
