What guests are saying

I am surprised that this property is on the Sykes books.

I would recommend that you take your own bedding and towels and be prepared to clean for about 2 hours when you arrive it was filthy. We went out and got sleeping bags, towels and cleaning stuff. We used their towels to make tracks on the floor so we didn’t have to stand on those surfaces. In addition we did not feel safe in the let as there are people either side of the building living in sheds/containers. It is cheap but in no way cheerful. It is however convenient for Skegness and Wainfleet, has two toilets and has a lovely open field view at the rear. You might wonder as we did, why we didn’t say anything, there didn’t seem much point and we didn’t feel it would be well recieved and of course we are ridiculously polite.

The cottage is very nice , on the surface, the shower is a mere trickle, the water outlets in the bathroom is green with lack of cleaning, the bed in the downstairs bedroom could feel the springs not very comfortable at all, the outside area through the patio doors, there was some filthy plastic chairs, and some rusty metal and fabric chairs, so nowhere to sit at the back.

The windows need cleaning throughout The kitchen was well equipped although we ate out, could do with a pair of scissors and a bread knife. The cottage is quite handy for Skegness only a few minutes drive
