Our third visit to The Hemploe.

Large and spacious property with very large rear garden. Good to have electric fire in living room to take chill off the day rather than having the central heating on. Lovely fluffy towels provided and clean, fresh linen on beds. WiFi provided and Smart TV available, although during our stay some of the catchup channels needed signing into and we couldn't achieve this, so it was nice to have the DVD player to watch films provided. The ensuite bedroom could do with a couple of more electrical sockets but that's a minor quibble. Sutton on Sea a short walk away is quaint and always worth visiting. Great that the property is dog friendly....kept ours on a long lead just incase there was the odd gap he could squeeze through into the neighbours garden. Returning next year.

The property is very spacious and comfortable, beds, bathroom facilities, sofas, TV, and everything you need is provided.

The garden is wonderful for dogs, safe and secure. A lovely space to sit out and enjoy too. I have dropped a star for cleanliness, but having said that it wasnt enough to spoil our stay. We had a fantastic week and would definitely recommend and return ourselves.

It rained but there was no leak. The owners were incredibly helpful - actively reached out with text on arrival time to check all ok & acted immediately about the main shower not draining very well. Cleanliness not a problem. We had enough complimentary tea and coffee for 4 adults for the whole week without buying any more. Windbreak, beach toys, beach chairs etc in the shed a bonus. It was our second visit and we’ve already booked for next summer!

Had to wash all cutlery & draw, descale kettle, scrub microwave.

House very dirty everywhere. Dust on all surfaces, ensuite radiator full of dust & particles. Other bathroom radiator rusty. Complimentary basket had 2 tea bags, 3 coffee sachets and sugar sachets, basket very dirty!!! Fridge needs cleaning, freezer full of ice & food from previous guests. Lighting in conservatory very poor with broken bulbs. Leak in conservatory roof with water running down wall & onto floor. Contacted owner via message on phone, no reply so emailed. Owner was very defensive, said no complaints before, yet there are lack of cleaning comments in guest book in hall. No suggestion of coming to see the mess & state of the place or a sorry. Said we wouldn’t leave a bad review as obviously the cleaners are letting this property down, however feel the owner blamed us for complaining. The house is cleaner after we left than when we arrived!! House full of personal items, bank statements etc. dirtiest house we have ever stayed in, towels all smelt of damp, new bedding needed. Such a shame, as house in ideal location, parking good. Garden lovely.

The property is spacious and laid out so everything is easy to find.

Ideal for older guests as it is all level. Garden is great for kids and dogs. We are a family of 4 and it was ideal for us. Bedrooms are airy and bonus of an onsuite bathroom in one. Beds are comfy. I slept well every night! Peaceful and relaxing location. The weather was glorious so the upstairs gets hot quickly. The owners have provided a fan but in this unprecedented weather the space holds heat. The added msg from the owners to welcome us was lovely and appreciated We loved it. Hemploe has character.We booked to return next year! great location.

Owners are lovely, very friendly and accommodating.

Accommodation is very spacious, garden absolutely wonderful for an energetic spaniel and just a 5 minute stroll from the all year round dog friendly beach. We have already booked to return twice again next year.

The bungalow is spacious and comfortable.

It has everything I needed/wanted and is in a fantastic location to explore the coast and inland

the accommodation was ideal for us ( early eighties ) the area is reasonably flat and ideal for walking and getting around.

The property itself was ideal, all ground floor, there were stairs to an upper level, but we did not have occasion to use this. There is a large, enclosed garden, completely private. We have already booked for next year, as there is everything we want for a lovely, stress free holiday. PS, we would be grateful for a repeat of the gorgeous weather we enjoyed this year !!!!!

.short walk to a nice beach and sutton on sea shops..very quiet street never slept so well downstairs beds very comfy Had a few issues which was addressed with the owner and will hopefully be addressed for future guests..

Excellent property & location.

Lighting throughout was too dim with no replacement bulbs for lamps that didn’t work. No lighting at all in the back garden which is vast. Need lights on patio.

The accommodation was first class and exceptionally clean.

We enjoyed our week at the Hemploe, we had no problem finding and the large driveway was great.

The cottage was well equipped and the cleaning was adequate but not great, the beds were comfortable but the same could not be said about the sofa's which were past their best. The Garden was great for our grandson and dog, it could be doing with a bit of maintenance as could the rest of the outside. All in all we enjoyed our stay, and may be back sometime in the future.

We had a lovely time, the garden and house are kept in a A1 condition, we loved it there and would go again

Plenty of space to enjoy. Cosy with central heating and electric fire. Bedrooms were large with excellent linen on the beds. Catch up TV was useful for those rainy days. Easy reach of the beach for walking the dog. Owners are brilliant and wanted us to be happy with our stay.

A fantastic bungalow with everything you need ,it’s very spacious and comfortable , on arrival everything was available to make a cup of tea or coffee including some biscuits and also some treats for our fur baby .

The garden is very large and secure for your dog would definitely book again if going back to that area .

Friendly owners who couldn’t do enough to help - beach chairs & body boards in the garage were unexpected bonuses. Throughly enjoyable holiday for 3 generations - we have already booked our return trip for next summe!

Hemploe is a lovely place to stay with family.

The property has ample space and is relatively comfortable, has all basic amenities and facilities provided.

The garden is lovely and huge ideal for young children barbecues and chilling out.pet friendly and friendly neighbourhood.

The location is fantastic for putting you at the heart of everything a good old fashioned British seaside holiday has to offer sea sand funfair Russell’s Circus and great food. Get it booked you won’t regret it.

We booked the Hemploe for its lovely large garden and simple and uncluttered layout for our totally blind dog.

We were not disappointed. Not only did the bungalow suit our dog (who mapped its floorplan within a few minutes), we found it very spacious and comfortable for ourselves. The property was well equipped and the only thing we missed was a cafitiere. The location of the property is superb with the beach and promenade just a couple of minutes walk from the bungalow and the portion of blue flag beach prohibited for dogs (May - Sept) was very small. The first left opening onto the beach is dog friendly. To the right to need to walk a few minutes along the promenade before reaching the dog friendly portion. The promenade was clean and wide. In the other direction from the bungalow there is a nice walk along a lane between fields. Self check in was ideal for us but we received a welcome text from the owners which was nice. There were complimetary biscuits, tea, coffee and milk to make that first welcome cuppa when you are unpacking. The weather was great the whole two weeks and we relaxed in the lovely garden. There is an outside table and chairs with a good parasol for shade on the large patio. The lawn was nicely cut. For an autumn holiday there is a good blackberry bush which would yield fruit for a yummy crumble or pie! We would highly recommend the property for dog owners (as well as those without). The road and neighbourhood is quiet and we had a lovely, restful time. If the weather wasn't favourable there are loads of games and books in the property and a smart TV. Thank you!

A very spacious bungalow and garden.

Well-appointed in the kitchen. But one of the showers was very small. Upstairs could really do with loo facilities as its a bit tricky navigating the stairs at night. Otherwise, a lovely week. The beach is beautifully clean and everyone really friendly.

More chicken wire needed. Electric fire in lounge does not work, needs element replacing. Excellent property though.

Our second stay at the Hemploe and again did not disappoint.

The house was well presented clean and tidy and the location is fantastic for a Traditional seaside holiday for all the family. Three generations with a fourth who have a holiday home in Sutton on sea enjoyed a great week together and we are back in July. A big thanks to Robin and Stella who are the perfect hosts.

Plenty of parking at front and a lovely big garden at the back, which would be lovely in summer.

Spacious, well equipped, but a range of different size Pyrex bowls would be helpful. Cleaning was not as good this year. I.E. under standing furniture, Freezer draws, Toaster had not been emptied. Seems picky, but until you go to use something can be quite off-putting.

Fabulous as always.

This was our fourth visit to The Hemploe. Facilities and garden are great. Just a short walk to the promenade and shops. We had fab weather for the end of November and really enjoyed our stay. We highly recommend The Hemploe. Thank you to the owners for making our stay so memorable.

A great cottage.

Could be a lot cleaner but overall good. When leaving the hoover that is left their is a waste of time on the mats.

On bottom floor This house is very comfortable and has everything you would need but stairs to attic not good for adults as on other reviews you can and will hit your head on them and also in slopping ceiling in top bedroom, so would better for children.

Can say its an ideal location for travelling to other places and people are very friendly here but for us we didn't think was cleaned to a standard that should have been as they were cobwebs all over in walls in bedrooms top and bottom, behind tv and side of fridge was really bad and at least 35 spiders we had to get rid off. Should not have to clean house on 1st or 2nd day that's why I contacted skykes which took 3 days for reply and had to provide pictures so for us bit of a letdown but still enjoyed going places

An excellent property.

Large, spacious and pet friendly. We loved the property which was within easy reach of the beach and shops. WiFi was brilliant, allowing us to watch catch-up TV in the evenings. Kitchen well equipped. One bedroom was en-suite with shower and bath, as was family bathroom. Dining table had space for ten people, situated in the conservatory. Large garden was secluded, being hedge-lined or fenced...ideal for privacy and the dog. A superb property.

An absolutely stunning bungalow, the owners have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable.

Good location in terms of beach and local facilities, but also not too far to travel to get to the bigger tourist attractions. We have already booked again for next year as we loved it so much.

We had a lovely week at the Hemploe.

Everything we needed and more was provided & the spacious rooms were great. The big bonus for us was the huge, secure garden allowing our 5 year old grandson and 7 month old puppy so much freedom when we weren't at the beach plus the owner had left outdoor games which were a huge hit. The location is excellent - a 5 minute walk to the beach & 10 minutes to the shops - but it was so quiet & peaceful. It was fantastic to be able to park our 3 vehicles at the property too. I've been visiting Sutton for many years & have stayed in a range of properties over that time. The Hemploe was definitely top of the list & we hope to return sometime next year.

The house is fabulous, very well equipped and in an excellent location.

Very spacious too. The garden is amazing and if we were not at the beach we were in the garden instead. Beach and shops in easy walking distance. Lots of lovely beach walks nearby too.

It was nice to get a welcome message from owners .Great place to have a bungalow as it's a really quiet area and places to visit within easy reach.Only thing is did not feel comfortable in beds either one was too hard and the other too soft but I suppose you will never get the one you have at home otherwise great holiday home

We stayed at The Hemploe from the 22nd-29th of June 2024.

We had know the property for a while as my parents have a caravan nearby so it was nice to finally step through the front door and it did not disappoint. It was cleaned to a good standard and the bungalow is both spacious and comfortable and has a fantastic garden which Maverick our Staffordshire Bull Terrier along with our 2x Granddaughters throughly enjoyed. Our Granddaughters loved the upstairs bedroom and turned it in to a playroom come bedroom. Robin and Stella sent us a welcome text and pointed us towards garden games in the garage and other useful information. Sutton on sea and Mablethorpe up the road are quintessential English seaside towns and it’s great our Grandchildren can enjoy everything they provide great beaches good food and a fantastic little fair that helps you make great memories which The Hemploe provides you with a great base to enjoy. Thank you to the team behind The Hemploe headed by Robin and Stella for a great week in which the sun did rarely stop shining “Perfick”

Lovely place, but the weather is a make or break on a holiday here, the beach is 15 min walk but very little else close by, rural area, Lovely quiet residence, and owner is delightful.

Dogs loved large garden.

The key safe was not easy to get into and the tin opener wasn't very good but a lovely spacious bungalow

Property in lovely location,very peaceful.

Bigger shower would have been more appropriate for a larger person rather than the two baths. Lovely walks straight from the bungalow were ideal with the dog.we had a very relaxing time at this bungalow.

Great week weather was very kind - good clean and comfortable property only used the two downstairs bedrooms/bathrooms -stairs very steep but were warned but we never needed to use them .

Great garden for our dog just had to keep an eye on a hole bottom left of garden we put a stump there every day obviously a fix or badger removed it every night

Lovely space with a homely feel.

Amazing garden. Had pretty much everything we needed. Great set up for two families. The conservatory space is ideal for socialising and playing board games. Lovely quiet location within reach of plenty for all the family. Worth noting, whilst there is a washing machine, you are told to stick to the quick 30 degree wash. This isn't adequate for cleaning dirty clothes. Knowing this in advance would be helpful - discovering that after packing light wasn't ideal!

Lovely and spacious, everything you need there including tumble dryer.

Really nice having a bath and shower in both bathrooms. Garden is huge as is drive way. If being picky we would have loved a bigger bed but that is just because we are used to that. Location is ideal for exploring and neighbourhood is quiet.

This was our second stay and possibly not our last.

Apart from the weather our holiday was absolutely perfect, everything we needed, home from home. Stella returned a book that we had left behind and would not let us pay for the postage, this was very kind of you, thank you. The bungalow is very clean, who ever maintains and prepares the bungalow for us, takes time and respects their role, allowing us to enjoy our holiday immediately we arrive.

We found the Hemploe spacious clean and comfortable and well equiped.

Delightful clean, warm and comfortable property that has an enormous driveway and rear garden.

Litchen had everything we needed - cooker, microwave, dishwasher, lots of plates etc. Tv was a smart tv for Netflix iPlayer etc. Even a stereo with cds and vinyl. The only two negatives - which wouldn't stop me staying again - were that if there was a problem you have to go through Sykes, which is not great if it is out of hours as their service for this isn't very good (although I will say that the small issue we had was resolved incredibly quickly and the owner was lovely) and the other is that the washing machine and tumble dryer are in the garage and you have to go outside to access them.

This is a beautiful spacious bungalow which I can highly recommend we all thought it was very welcoming and warm on a cold winters day It’s the best one I’ve stayed in especially if you have a pet dog as the garden is tremendous and a lovely place for the dog to run around in I can’t fault the place

Lovely large spacious bungalow, drive to the front door with no worry about parking.

Massive secure private back garden which our dog loved. Short walk to a path onto beach and promenade. Also cut through estate to shops, pubs etc. Sutton on Sea quiet in November and "bracing" as expected, but still a nice break. Two large downstairs bedrooms, with comfy firm(ish) beds and bedding. Homely front room, some might find dated, but good quality and fit for purpose. Lots and lots of books, games, jigsaws, records, DVDs, CDs etc. Also every conceivable pot, dish, bowl, glassware, crockery etc, (but could do with one empty cupboard to put own food). Kitchen and dining in conservatory, which can be a little cool. But overall a excellent place for a week away.

Bed too hard and quilt needs to be bigger, dust on top of freezer, cobwebs in corners of rooms and around base of lamps, inside ceiling of conservatory dirty.

It was mid November and we weren't allowed to put the central heating up, found the house cold. However,big garden was perfect for the dog, location was brilliant, very quiet in winter, the fact there is a caravan park right behind might mean it is noisier in summer. Great that throws were supplied for the sofas to protect from dogs, and dog towels, we did bring our own. Could do with an outside light on the back garden. Very dark outside although torch was provided. Needs mats in bedroom as laminate flooring was cold.

This is a huge 1970s open plan bungalow that dosent seem to have changed since 1970 .

If you put pineapple and cheese on cocktail sticks on the table and pampas grass in the garden , plus a bit of "G plan " furniture it could be marketed as a 1970s themed experience . It is really warm but not cosy - very saggy settee . Loads of storage cupboards but no storage ! all cupboards filled with owners possessions and i counted over 150 drinking glasses ! . the bathroom fittings are very dated and need replacing . However , it is in a superb location , only 5 minutes walk from beech and just 10 minutes to village shops etc . very quiet road , fenced and dog friendly garden , all floors are hard floors which are excellent with dogs or small children . , excellent for large family and dog owners - excellent local walks with dog ..It has off road parking for lots of cars . Newish kitchen fittings , even bar stools !! also very cheap to rent so lots of positives but i think the modern renter really wants a higher standard But again , you get what you pay for . Bag a bargain before it is updated - then it will cost twice the price .

The cottage is a very large, really well equiped place a proper home from home that lacks absolutely nothing.

It is very clean and modern. Situated in a very quiet location just 5 mins from the beach.

Very nice property very clean, good size for the 6 of us and near to the beach and local shops.

Very comfortable and roomy.

Decorated and cleaned to a high standard. Beds very comfortable. Kitchen well equipped, crockery in good condition, plenty of cutlery. Decent sized fridge and dishwasher. Huge secure garden. Bathrooms well proportioned, although showers disappointing, but that due to a lack of water pressure which is probably an area problem. Upstairs bedroom is not suitable for older people as stairs very steep and lacking headroom at one point. Very pleased with our choice of holiday property. If we come back to the area, we would definitely come back here, no need to look elsewhere.

Overall the property was adequate but there is room for some improvements.

On the plus side the house is spacious and the garden is lovely. Our boys thought they'd got their own football pitch. Lovely neighbours who didn't mind returning their football either. Nice quiet area as well and within easy reach of the beach. Cleanliness will always be a moot point depending on whether you're a "clean queen" or just an easy going person like me. I found it to be perfectly acceptable anyhow. But...I wasn't too happy to find that some of the crockery was chipped and cracked. It really is cheap enough to replace plain white plates and I feel this should be done as and when needed. Also the towels were totally inadequate for adults. Only 2 towels per person. A hand towel that was barely bigger then a face cloth and a bath towel which was more like a large hand towel. Two tea towels in the kitchen but no hand towel and no extra hand towels in the bathroom or en-suite. The washing machine was very welcome seeing as we are a family of 5 but I loath drying wet clothes in a tumble dryer unless absolutely necessary. I'm sure that a little rotary dryer in the huge garden would be welcomed by very many families. We bought a clothes line and suspended it between a tree and the fence and dried our clothes in the lovely sunshine. Sorry to the owners.....I said I would leave it but hubby took it down. lol There is a drying rack supplied though and that's by the wardrobe in the bedroom.....that was very handy as well but we didn't find it to start with. All of the beds were reported to be comfortable apart from mine which was the double bed in the en-suite room. That mattress could do with replacing. It felt like I was sleeping on a park bench because it's so hard. I know that mattresses are difficult things to provide because everybody is different but probably a medium sprung mattress would be a safe bet. We also had problems with the lovely funky fire on the wall of the lounge. We had a few chilly evenings during our 2 week stay but the remote controlled fire only worked for one evening! We got the halogen fire out of the garage but that was broken and only one bar worked. Luckily we didn't need it on for very long before the chill was taken off the air. . The main issue I have is about the bedroom upstairs. The description clearly states that the stairs are very steep and not suitable for children under the age of 10. Our 8 year old was like a mountain goat and had no problems at all but our 10 year old continually banged his head as he went up and down the very steep stairs. The description should also make it very clear that this particular room isn't suitable for anybody with mobility issues or aged/infirm. My Husband went to check it out and banged his head on the way up and on the way down. He also commented on a steep part of the staircase which he felt was dangerous. I only looked up from the ground floor but didn't feel confident enough to go and look any further. I feel that this room is very limited as to who can actually use it safely. Not only that but there isn't any lighting on the staircase and no toilet facilities up there so going to the toilet in the night means coming down an un-lit staircase to the ground floor before making your way through the lounge and into the hallway before getting to the main bathroom. The owners do suggest leaving the lounge lights on throughout the night in order to provide light on the staircase. I personally think it's a health and safety issue but if you know in advance what you will be getting when you book the Hemploe then you can decide for yourselves whether or not it's value for money. We managed ok.......2 young boys and their Mum but younger children on their own might not be ok. Older/less mobile people would struggle so the actual age group for this room is very limited. . On a final note.....the tele was brilliant and the internet connection was good as well. . Would we book again? If a few changes were made then I think we would.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The property is spacious, comfortable and well-equipped as well as being in an excellent location. It is wonderfully peaceful but just a short walk to the beach and easy to get to neighbouring resorts. The garden was a delight for our dog and my grandson.

Really super property - nice and spacious with everything you need plus a whole load of toys/games/puzzles/books.

The Hemploe was the best holiday home we have stayed in in all the years we've bèn bòoking with Sykes cottages.

It was in a great location and we loved Sutton on sea.The cottage was so roomy and the garden enormous.

The bungalow was an excellent choice for our week away.

Our dog loved the exceptionally large enclosed garden. Everything you need is available, beds really comfy too. Just a seven minute walk for us to the lovely beach. Our first time in Sutton on Sea and would highly recommend. It is flat and ideal for people with disabilities. Excellent food at The Beach Bar. We will definitely be back. Great place.

Everything we needed. Good amount of cooking bits. Great garden for dogs. Beds are comfy. Showers ok if a bit small.Owner very kindly rang to say if we were chilly there was a heater in the garage.

The bath towels could be larger,.

We were contacted by the owner just after arrival to check all was well, that's the first time this has happen in the years we have been using Sykes The garden fence blew down in the strong winds on Monday, inform by the owner while we were out, fencer turn up at 1630, Fence fixed by 1000 Tuesday Absolutely Brilliant.

The Hemploe was everything you could ask for.

It was spacious and very well equipped. The garden was a great hit with our dog. After bracing walks along the beach ( in February) it was great to get back to a lovely warm house. Its location is ideal for trips to the Lincolnshire Wolds, Lincoln and Nature Reserves I would highly recommend this property.

Temperature very cold at night, but it was Feb and sun and blue sky in the day made up for it. Facilities were great, beds comfy, all you could wish for. Cheers

Could not fault it at all

An extremely clean cottage in a fabulous location.

Beautiful garden which would have been perfect had we stayed in the summer. Very quiet area and big parking area. It is a bit of a trek for the bathroom from the attic room down quite steep stairs but that cannot be helped. The beds and sofas were very comfortable. Smart tv with Netflix and good wifi. Highly recommended. I left an item behind and the owner kindly sent it back to me.

Lots of places close by to visit . The Woodthorpe garden center does fantastic carvery. Beds were super comfy. Well equipped bungalow. Relaxing week away with my 90 Yr old dad.

There are no negatives

nice area, good inside and outside space, however, a few things need to be addressed for the price we paid.

No smoke alarms, no carbon monoxide monitor ,no slip mats for showers or baths. Lots of dust on walls ,pictures and hall table. Bathroom floors not clean, door to on suite wont close no lock on other bathroom door. Dinning room chairs very dirty and stained, dirty dishes and plates in cupboard and dirty utensils. Sofas to low .but we made the best of the week but very disappointed.

A very comfortable stay in a cottage with excellent facilities.

Being so close to the beach is a boon, and Sutton itself is a nice place to stay. Our only real gripe was that the door to the en-suite currently won't close - it needs planing off at the top. Just need to whistle...

The Hemploe is a fabulous property, in an ideal location.

Sutton on Sea is a beautiful little seaside town and an easy walk from the bungalow. Mablethorpe is just a 5 minute drive away too. Whilst the the accommodation is lovely may I recommend maybe changing the settees as they are quite low and not easy for us older achy people to get up from. All in all we had a fantastic time and our little pooch love her garden x

Once again we have had a lovely time at the hemploe, the dogs love the garden,and we had everything that we needed, we enjoyed doing your jigsaws and playing cards, Thankyou you for having us and look forward to returning in the future.

Fantastic property and wonderful location.

The only bit we found a bit confusing was the heating controls - as the instructions in the folder didn't seem to correspond to the panel in the hall / lobby area. But I think we worked out by trial and error! Otherwise, everything was just right. Definitely be back!

The property was beautiful, very spacious, comfortable, clean and homely and it was in a great location.

The garden was great for our dog to play in and for us to relax in, it was so quiet and peaceful. Loved the little treats - biscuits for "our boy" and a couple of treats for us and milk in the fridge - Thank You. Would recommend this property.

Had a fantastic stay .

Everything was as it was described. The treats were a lovely surprise. We took our dog and the garden was safe and secure, he didn’t want to leave. We loved it that much we have already booked again for later in the year.

The Hemploe is spacious and in a quiet road just a few minutes walk from the beach.

Fantastic property, the listing honestly doesn't do justice to how lovely and spacious this place is.

The garden was perfect and the overall layout was beautiful, one thing I would recommend is a toilet upstairs as it's a trek at 2am to go to the loo but otherwise the house is perfect. Lovely recommendation from the owners to visit Donna Nook for the seals. Wonderfully decorated for Christmas and sone lovely little treats left for us and the dog. Thank you for a lovely stay, would definitely recommend and book again.

Excellent property in a great location.

Easy walk to the beach and local facilities including shops, bars, restaurants etc. Beds really comfortable with lovely cosy duvets, well equipped kitchen and and great conservatory/dinning room looking out over a wonderful big garden with many an happy hour spent watching the birds and squirrels from the window. A problem with the heating was quickly sorted (within 15 minutes) with additional halogen heaters been provided. Would certainly recommend and look forward to booking a return visit soon.

Lovely clean spacious cottage The kitchen was well equipped and a lovely big garden for the dog.

Being over 6ft 3 I did find it a bit tight in the showers and don’t think that there is a need for two baths perhaps one larger shower would be better. We had a lovely week walking the beaches which were very accessible from the cottage. This was the first time we had been to this area and we are glad we went out of season as we have never seen so many caravans and would expect it to be very busy in the summer.

We loved this holiday property.

Ticked all our requirements. Our dog thought he had it the jackpot with such a huge garden. Easy access to the beach and nearby facilities. A real gem.

Although the garden was wonderful for our little dog there were a couple of places were she cuuld get through into next door

We had a lovely time at hemploe, the bungalow had everything that we needed, we took advantage of the games that were there, the facilities in the kitchen were very good, our dogs particularly enjoyed the garden and spent most of there time playing outside, it was handy having the beach on our doorstep too, we would also like to thank the owners for letting us change our plans 6 weeks before we were due to arrive by letting us bring my stepdad and his dog at the last minute due to a bereavement in our family which we will always be grateful for as we would probably had to have cancelled otherwise, and it was just what the doctor would have recommended for him, which we are very grateful for, and we will definitely be returning in the near future.

The garden needs a good tidy up, there are weeds which werent removed evixently bad been there a ehile.

Also, although tv package not a priority, compared to other cottages we have stayed in this has a basic freeview package rather than access to Netflix or a sky package, this would deter us crom staying at tbe Hemploe outside of summer months. We strongly recommend a good tv package

Amazing property in a quiet location.

Massive garden which is all fenced in our dog loved it. A couple of minutes places to have a drink or a meal or a lot of them do take away or delivery. Short walk to the beach. My whole family loved it and we would love to go again.

Area is lacking things to do on door step you have to drive to get anything.

Very spacious, comfortable and clean-----good facilities---quiet area.

May I suggest a clothes airer be supplied as the clothes line is in the trees. There is a tumble drier but an airer would cut cost for the owner
