    The owner is clearly having difficulties and is not overseeing the cleaning or maintenance of the property. It was absolutely filthy on arrival and needs a deep clean. All of the surfaces were greasy and unusable, the kitchen tap was broken as was the kitchen bin and the bottom underneath the bin liner was full of moulding food. The floor throughout was filthy leaving our socks black and the underneath of the sofa cushions were full of dog hairs, cigarette filters, and moulding food and crumbs which must have accumulated over months. As other reviews state, this property is not currently fit to stay in. On top of the filthy state of the property, there was an issue with the gas boiler not working and what’s worse no running water throughout the entire property. Whilst the owner apologised, the house was not liveable and we could not stay there. While I understand that things happen in life and the owner is clearly in ill health, he should not be advertising properties for customers to stay in when they are not fit for guests. What has been most upsetting is that instead of providing me with a refund, he has taken my money and ignored my contact leaving me no option but to pursue complaint through Sykes to try to reclaim my money so that I can take my children on a memorable holiday to make up for the upset caused by this situation. We will not stay in any properties belonging to this owner again due to his poor handling of the situation which he could have resolved with a genuine apology and refund.

Park the car roadside and head towards the entrance of this coastal abode.

Enter into the living/dining room to be met with the quaint decor of this annex.

Unwind on the leather sofa, and flick on the Smart TV as you pick a playlist to settle you in.

This vibrant room has a stained glass bar and bright orange walls.

Pull out a stool and experiment with flavours as you create a signature drink for the holiday.

Head to the kitchen and whip up a home-cooked meal to complement your beverage, utilising the electric oven and hob.

Then head back into the living/dining room and tuck into your tasty creations.

Once plates are cleared, browse the entertainment on offer on the TV.

As the night draws to a close, freshen up in the bathroom, with the options of a soak with bubbles in the bath or a refresh with a shower.
