Resting on the outskirts of Aberdovey (Aberdyfi), a harbour village in Gwynedd, Snowdonia, is Top Of The World Lodge, a single-storey three-bedroom dwelling.

Sitting within Bwlchgwyn Chalet Park, offering far-reaching views from its elevated position across the North Wales countryside, the lodge welcomes six guests and two well-behaved dogs; idyllic for a family escape or a get-together with friends.

Benefit from a well-equipped, open-plan living arrangement, offering direct views across the whole of Cardigan Bay whilst preparing meals, gathering as a group, and relaxing upon the plush sofas.

Retreat outside to the private veranda, completed with outdoor furniture, perfect for alfresco dining or even a late-night tipple.

Returning to the bedrooms, be met by a double, a twin room and bunk, all of which are spacious and are serviced by the well-presented shower room.

Local amenities within Aberdovey and the coast are a short walk down the hill, recommended to visit whilst on your self-catering stay; you'll find local pubs, cafes, Penhelig Arms Hotel, the renowned links golf club, and a plethora of shops dotted across the shoreline.

We had the very best of holidays.

The view really was spectacular. We loved sitting watching the ever changing scenery. The chalet was very comfortable and well equipped. There was also plenty to do in the area. We did some beautiful walks and were able to combine this sometimes with scenic train journeys . We would recommend the Panoramic walk for the most beautiful views.

Top of the world was a great retreat for us, it had all we needed and the location delivered up to our expectations, splendid views all day, the thrill of the coast, a nice village and great walks of the doorstep along the panoramawalk and the hills around happy valley.

It gets not better than this!
