We recently stayed here with our family for a few days.
It was pretty easy to find, the owner was helpful and gave. The property is adequate but basic. It would have been good if there was a dishwasher at least but it would be difficult to find the space as it’s not very big and not much of a living area. Although this isn’t the owners fault as it was so hot, we had so many flies in the property and there was no air conditioning or any fans to keep us cool. The small garden just outside for the lodgers is very nicely maintained with a water feature. It’s also quite clustered tightly with the other neighbours. Overall it was OK but a bit too basic for us.
Lodge was well appointed and the secret garden area was very well landscaped.
The adjacent hotel was very welcoming and the meals were very good and reasonably priced
We had a very enjoyable week.
The lodge was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. We made the most of having our evening meals in the Cann Office. Rachel & Robert are lovely hosts and always made us feel very welcome.
