Cyffdy Cottage - Tegid

Absolutely lovely little cottage, very clean and comfy!

The dog loved seeing the donkeys from the yard. The living room was so comfortable and the kitchen was incredible. Owners were helpful and lovely!

Cyffyd Cottage was a beautiful place to stay peaceful comfortable and very cosy and a lovely private outside space split into two levels where you could sit outside and have a barbecue in the peaceful surroundings the cottage had everything you need and Tracy the owner left us a lovely welcome pack on our arrival and fresh milk in the fridge so we could have a nice cuppa and some tasty snacks to start off our holiday and Bala is gem of a place to stay I can highly recommend the cottage and Tracy and her family for being the perfect hosts we had a wonderful few days in beautiful Bala .

We stayed at Cyffdy cottages (Tegid) for a four night stay.

The cottage was ideal for the two of us and two dogs. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable - ideal for a quiet break and only a short drive into Bala. Tracy and James provided a lovely welcome pack along with tea, coffee and milk. Very quiet and picturesque location set amongst the hills above Bala.

We rented ARAN, ARENIG and TEGID cottages as a family group for 3 nights.

The cottages were spacious and very comfortable. We were welcomed by James when we arrived and, after a little explore around the cottages, were gifted with Welsh Cakes and Bara Brith Fruit Cake that was much needed with a cup of tea after a long drive. The tea and milk was also provided by our kind hosts. The grounds are peaceful and quiet, just what we were after. 5* rating as we absolutely couldn't fault it!

We had an amazing 3 night stay, everything you need for a comfortable stay, and the donkeys are an amazing extra, and what can I say about the view absolutely breathtaking, the owners are amazing too, any problems there a phone call away, will definitely be returning.

I first stayed in Tegid (then called Stable Nook) in 2005.

Have have just returned from another 10 day stay over Christmas, which was wonderful in every respect. The cottage is warm, cosy and extremely well equipped. The log burning stove adds real character and a sense of homeliness. The views are superb both from the cottage and the gardens. The owners (Adam and Tracey) are very friendly and helpful. We've already booked for next Christmas and I would not hesitate in recommending Tegid (or any of the other Cyffdy cottages) to anyone!

The cottage is in my opinon fantastic .The wood burning fire made it very cosy .The kitchen is very well equiped with everything you need .Its not to far away from Bala .We will definately be going back .We had a great time thank you

The cottage was lovely.

It had everything we needed for our weekend stay. The owners were really helpful. The location was fantastic with fantastic views. When we arrived the owners had left,tea,coffee,milk,prosecco and cakes for us. The kitchen has everything that you will need. There's a log burner in the living room with fuel provided. There are plenty of books and games to keep everyone occupied when you stay in. There are 2 tables with chairs for outside seating a BBQ, you will have to bring your own fuel for the BBQ. There is a play area with a trampoline and football goals. The nearest shops are in Bala less than 10 minute drive away. We would highly recommend this cottage
