Lovely accommodation in a great nature setting.
The house has been done up to a great standard and was always warm which the rest of my party enjoyed. If like me you like it cooler when sleeping that’s no problem just open the window and you get a bonus of listening to the sound of the river, the best white noise you could ask for. Overall the property was clean but could do with a little more attention to the oven and the trays as they were a little below the standard but nothing worth complaining about. 2 bathrooms with a toilet and shower in each made life a lot easier and great water pressure and temperature. Parking was great but worth noting if you have more than one car and one is a long vehicle it can be a little snug turning around. To improve the listing I’d look at adding some extra essentials like hand soap and a few dish washer tablets available for your guest but again wasn’t a big deal to pop down the road where there’s a Co-op to get the few bits we forgot to bring with us
Lovely cottage in the middle of nature, perfect for exploring the area.
A bit of an steep uphill walk in the morning from the bakery so a good start of the day. Comfortable bed (although a bit small for 2) and sofa's. We were staying when it was very hot so the windows needed to be open to cool down at night. There were no fly screens but weirdly enough no mosquito's.. Like others said wifi on the 4G modem was very poor but Starlink was on the way, that will definitly fix things. EV charger on the property, it was not listed but very welcome because in the area there are not many to be found and saved us a lot of hassle.
Excellent stay at the property, and we enjoyed a dip in the water which was a tad refreshing!
Only item we would say in regards to property is that if possible a better/larger frying pan and perhaps a Cafetière/coffee machine. Thankyou for the stay!
