Our second year at Hen Blaid, and the first time ever that we’ve gone back to a holiday cottage.

The temptation to keep this wonderful location and superb cottage all to ourselves is strong, but that feels wrong as you ought to experience it too. The cottage is beautifully made, crisp and clean in every detail. Just the right appliances, nice tableware and cooking facilities mean that you don’t need to take anything but your food and drink. The welcome Bara Brith, fruit juice and milk was wonderful too, we had tea and cake immediately! The location is perfect, so quiet and restful, you’ll be happy just sitting indoors or on the bench outside, absorbing the splendour of it all. Whatever it takes, we will return for a third go!

Excellently equipped and appointed in a superb, elevated position with an excellent, like-for-like view.

The shower is particularly good, although the water heats slowly. Everything is to hand for a comfortable stay, and the surroundings are wonderful.

Wonderful cottage in the perfect remote location.

The facilities were very good and we were able to cook great meals with the kitchen equipment. Only downside was the bed was slightly uncomfortable but otherwise a very lovely stay!
