This property was amazing.
The lady was a delight and very helpful , beautiful scenery, so peaceful and quiet. The lady thought of everything we could need. Shes always there if you need anything . Clean and comfy property. Would and will go again. Best place I’ve rented definitely.
My wife and I, we had an amazing week at hafan.
We was so lucky to found this beautiful place and couldn't praise Hafan enough. Thanks Carol for her hospitality and friendliness. All as described and even better. It was the best of the best self catering accommodation we stayed (we having holidays away a few times every year, mostly in UK). Before we went back home, we wanted to book week in Hafan later this year, but sadly couldn't as it is fully booked from August to middle of December. It shows how truly wonderful this piece of heaven is.
More than just a holiday cottage, Hafan is a true gem of a find and a real hideaway from the real world.
From the Welsh word primarily meaning haven, shelter, refuge, sanctuary or quiet place, this stunning property is genuinely delightful in every way. Surrounded on all sides by lush green working farm fields, which were filled with happy, playful little lambs full of juvenile character during our stay, and were a serene source of tranquility and amusement from the garden, patio and hot tub vantage points. The hot tub is incredible and was beautifully maintained during our stay by Carol, our fabulous host and property owner. Inside is perfectly well appointed and has everything you might need, including a fabulous log burner for when the sun dips into the valley and cools the fresh, clean Welsh air. And when it’s finally time to get your heads down to sleep and dream of the next big adventure the following day, the beds are just sumptuous and comfortable for a perfectly restful and restorative night. All in all, Hafan is our new favourite happy place, and one we will be returning to for, hopefully, many years to come! Thanks Carol, Arwyn and family for sharing your fabulous “haven” with us!
