Description

Llanbedr 3.5 miles. This stone-built, Grade II listed, semi-detached cottage is situated on a working sheep farm, down a private lane, in the Snowdonia National Park. Formerly the boiler room of the owner's 500-year old farmhouse, the cottage has been lovingly refurbished to a very high standard and contains a wonderful, open stone fireplace with a woodburning stove and the property's original bread oven. There's also delightful wood beams and a modern open plan kitchen with breakfast bar, opening into the cosy sitting area. Ideally placed for exploring the majestic mountains, along with the fabulous footpaths of Snowdonia, which trail from the doorstep, this cottage nestles in a peaceful part of North Wales, making it a wonderful place for a rural romantic retreat. Plus, with the seaside towns of Harlech and Porthmadog just a short drive away, this superb character cottage caters for everybody's needs.

Property can be booked with Refs. 1001479, together they can sleep 9 people.

This is our second stay and as good as the first.

We arrived at the double named storm as it hit the coast just 3 miles away yet we were snug in the cottage set in old woodland. Lovely waterfalls at the bottom of the drive and total silence overnight giving exceptional peace and quiet.

This is our second visit to the cottage, we love it, the owners are very friendly.

Parking is excellent, once you get used to the road leading to the cottage it is easy enough, just plan to go out and come back once a day.

This Cottage is in the perfect location ,beautiful & peaceful yet only a short drive to the coast .

It is cosy & dog friendly with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in ! I had problems working the TV but the owner was very happy to sort for me .I suggested instructions would be useful which she agreed to include in welcome pack in future .The owners are nearby , friendly & approachable without being intrusive & welcomed any feedback to ensure their guests enjoy their stay .My dog and I had a lovely break & I would definitely recommend staying here if you want a relaxing “away from it all “ holiday .
