  • "The property was immaculate and it was very well equipped."

The beds were very comfy and there were plenty of towels which was lovely. Our children really liked all the box games and books which was a nice touch. The location was great, it was really easy to walk to the beach with the kids and also within walking distance of town and eateries. I would highly recommend and we hope to return one day.

  • "This is an amazing holiday house."

Really comfortable with gorgeous fixtures and fittings, well equipped kitchen with so many extra touches. The bedrooms are just lovely with the fluffiest towels and plenty of them for each person. Great storage space and lots of coat hangers. Nothing has been scrimped on. The host, Ian was great with his communication on our pre-arrival queries. The house is mere steps from the beach so would be excellent if you are travelling with children. Really loved our stay and we found three excellent restaurants in Barmouth if you don’t want to cook. (The Fanny Talbot, Bistro Bermo and The Bank).

Thank you for your kind words we look forward to welcoming you back. Property Owner

  • "Wow Wow and Wow."

I don't think I can put into word how luxurious this house is. There is nothing more you could ever want from holiday accommodation. The owners are are a text away should you need to ask them anything and so warm and friendly. My partner and I took my teenage grandchildren aged 16 and 17 who both were very impressed. If you drive and don't know the area we went to the Nantcol Waterfalls it was breathtaking I am 67 and the hike to the top was manageable for me. We the hundred steps the views were special. We went to Coed Y Brenin Forest Park and hired bikes. There are waterfalls there too we sat and had a snack and the birds were eating out of our hands. We also forest walk near Dolgellau. There is so much more to see and we are in love with the place and we will definitely be going back to 1 Crud Y Mor next year. As you can probably tell I am not brilliant with words but you get the gist of it

  • "Some holiday properties you are ok leaving, some you are sad to leave and some you never want to leave - this property is most definitely the latter!"

Absolutely perfect property in immaculate condition, a pleasure to stay in. Quality furniture, fixtures and fittings. Really comfortable beds and fluffy white towels! Sea views from 2 of them. A host who really wants you to have the best holiday. Available by text with a prompt response should you have any questions. Lots of lovely little touches round the house, plenty of books and games to borrow. On top of all that, the location is amazing! 2 mins walk to the most stunning sandy beach that stretches for miles, all backed by mountains and scenery to take your breath away. Our first time in Barmouth and we were really impressed, being able to walk to everything from the house was such a bonus. Do not hesitate to book this property, you will not regret it!

  • "We had a lovely stay and were blown away by the property, very clean and modern."

The beach was a 2 minute walk and the pub even less! We walked into Barmouth most days and within a 10 minute gentle stroll we were in the town centre so location is ideal. We were grateful for the treats on arrival, and many thanks for the use of the baby gate and cot bed. Our little one slept perfectly, the windows even sound proofed against the seagulls. We were very lucky to have warm sunny weather and found that even with windows open overnight the area was lovely and quiet, despite being close to the pub, very respectful and quiet neighbours. Ian is a fantastic host, very helpful with my queries about the cot sizing and parking. The garden was a lovely little suntrap and we loved watching the birds on the feeders. Overall we had a great stay and would highly recommend this propety. Only reason for 4 stars was the bed was quite hard for me but I know this is usually personal preference so others may like a firm mattress!

  • "1 Crud Y Mor is a beautiful house, in a beautiful location."

Everything felt brand new, with luxurious decor and fittings and a lovely sunny garden with comfy patio furniture. Everything and more you could possibly need has been thought about by the owners. A welcoming touch was the selection of teas/coffee and Welsh Cakes left for us. There is also a spacious level car parking space to the front of the house which was ideal. A 2 minute walk takes you past the Min Y Mor Hotel and onto the beach, and a short walk along the promenade takes you into the town where there are plenty of shops and places to eat, a mini fairground and even donkey rides available on the beach. A little further on, there is the picturesque harbour with bars and restaurants looking over the boats and bridge crossing the estuary. Barmouth is a beautiful seaside town and our holiday was made all the more special because we stayed here. You will not be disappointed if you book this beautiful house and we look forward to visiting again
