The property was lovely with fantastic views of the coastline, not much to do in the vicinity that we found, but if you like the beach and the sea it's right there.

The only downside was that the water pump was very noisy and disturbed those sleeping downstairs.

Lovely property, in a great location, a bonus was the balcony overlooking the beach and sea.

The only small complaint was however a noisy water pump which was activated when a toilet chain was pulled or hot water tap turned on.

Wow, We were absolutely blown away with 26 Awel Y Mor.

The 3 storey house is absolutely stunning! We were like kids at Christmas when we checked in, going from room to room, it just got better and better. Topped off by the view at the top floor, the view from that balcony is exquisite

Fantastic view from the balcony and the accommodation had everything we needed.

We had a lovely week staying at 26 Awel Y Mor for my husbands 50th Birthday we wish we could have stayed longer.

The house is beautiful in a stunning location looking over the sea. We visited different places during our week and my husband enjoyed many walks with our dog on the coast and in the hills. We would definitely return to Pwhelli and 26 Awel Y Mor.

The accommodation is amazing.

Spacious rooms with a view to die for. Simple instructions and a responsive host made this an incredibly relaxing break. We would definitely stay here again. Communication with Sykes wasn’t great but property owner Liam stepped in and saved the day. Highly recommend

First time we had stayed at this property and not disappointed.

Very clean and spacious. Own little garden which gave us access to promenade. Private garage at rear so no issues parking our car, and also walking access to promenade. Lovely sea views from the top floor lounge, and main front facing bedroom. Just be aware that both staircases “dogleg” for anyone with mobility issues but there were hand rails. Multiple wooden ramps giving access to the beach and one directly opposite us. Like most beaches there is restricted access to parts of the beach during summer months for dogs – we don’t have a dog but I think the main (central) part of the beach was restricted – but the Internet should give details. A 15 minute walk down the promenade (depending on how fast you can walk) was a small convenience store and the same distance to a very nice (popular with locals) café. Easy 5 minute drive into Pwllheli itself, with ample parking. Some nice little shops and cafes. Also, a very good SPAR, Iceland and several fish and chip shops. Another few minutes drive to a large ASDA. Main line train station in the town.

We really enjoyed our first trip to Wales, very quiet area, lovely house and our dog loved the morning walks on the beach, sadly one pub nearby didn’t open until Wednesday and the other (Venue) did not open at all, other pubs in Pwllheli don’t accept dogs.

We would definitely recommend a trip out to Beddgelert pubs there was amazing

Very nice property in a very nice location.

After a long car journey and arriving on a Sunday afternoon, it would have been nice to have found a welcome pack.

Loaf of bread, fresh milk etc. Accommodation was good and as advertised. Towels were beginning to show their age. Showers excellent with plenty of hot water. We enjoyed our short stay and would recommend the house.

Overall, the accommodation was good.

Carpets could do with a good clean. Cream maybe not the best colour for a rental. The kitchen equipment was lacking and, overall, felt the lack of a personal touch let this property down.

Had a lovely stay.

Found the accommodation well equipped and furnished to a lovely standard. Fabulous amount of storage! Balcony overlooking the sea was a real bonus for us!!

Fabulous base for a family holiday in North Wales.

The house was beautifully presented and had everything we needed. Location was fantastic for the relaxing break we wanted, we even had the beach to ourselves most days. If you're looking for a peaceful break, I highly recommend. We will definitely be back in the future!

We enjoyed two weeks of ‘fabulousness’, everything you could wish for in a perfect holiday.

The weather was superb, allowing full use of the balcony, unfortunately, the umbrella was broken, and the base was seized solid, we managed, but something to be replaced in the future? Other small thing, the toilet seat in en suite, is becoming discoloured, maybe needs replacing? Two weeks of running up and down three flights of stairs has left us much fitter, we even managed to play regular badminton at nearby sports centre. We all love Pwhelli, think this was our best holiday yet. Thank you.

Fabulous place to stay!

Would definitely recommend, very well equipped, very clean & comfortable. Just stunning, especially the balcony views. Only downside was having to leave!

The house was warm and comfortable and had everything we needed. The lounge on the top floor was especially nice with those fabulous sea views! We didn't want to leave!

We’ve just returned from a three generation break at the property.

The situation of the property is amazing, beautiful views out to sea and a balcony to enjoy on the third floor, even in October. We had two issues whilst at the property which were both dealt with promptly and efficiently, the communication in particular from the management team was excellent. My only complaint would be that the crockery is lacking. There are just the six bowls suitable for dessert and cereal, no serving dishes or anything suitable to cook a baked dish in apart from one smallish rectangular pyrex dish which isn’t large enough for six people, and nothing available to mix any ingredients in or to serve a salad. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay.

Not enough crockery, glasses, no tea pot - we were only two and it was just enough for us!

!! Fabulous outlook and sea view but not a great position in terms of resort. The town is run down and has no "visitor/tourist" features. Good base for visiting Nth Wales coast and Snowdon. A welcome pack of bread, milk and local biscuits/cake would have been great.

A lovely property with a fantastic view.

The balcony was amazing. Great location for the beach and the amenities in Pwllheli. Although we enjoyed our stay we felt there we things lacking in the property. There was only 6 of everything meaning you had to keep washing up. There were no serving spoons or dishes and only one baking tray The one bedroom had no towels but we did find 3 used towels in the master wardrobe The garden was desperately in need of some TLC

Perfect location for those that love the sea and the beach, just cross the road and you're on the beach.

Very peaceful area but not much other than the beach though in the immediate vicinity so a 10 mins walk into Pwllheli for pubs and shops. The property was lovely, very spacious and the balcony was a perfect suntrap. It includes some great facilities, dishwasher/washing machine, 3 bath/shower rooms, patio furniture, and the upside down layout maximises the views. We did find some bits of things left from previous occupants (underwear, toys and dirty cutlery) so perhaps needs a slightly more thorough clean in between guests. But nothing we couldn't sort out ourselves and it was generally clean and tidy. Be aware if you are sensitive to high pitched noises the hive heating plug emits a constant noise which we had to muffle with the oven gloves! Enjoyed our stay and our walks on the beach so would definitely stay again.

what a beautiful house.

i would recomend this 100%.easy accsess into town and lots of different beaches. peaceful and quiet. had a lovely stay with our little yorkie.

We had a lovely time and a very comfy stay.

There wasn't any dishwasher tablets or washing up liquid there, (did say in the spec there was) so we just had to go and get some. The balcony is great and will be a great sun trap in the summer.The location is great to get around North Wales. Would definitely go back again.

It's well presented, clean & comfortable.

We loved the location next to beach & that we could take our dog . The beds were soo comfortable, 3 great bathrooms & the balcony was great for the sea view. Also saw a bat one evening

Fab place, having the living area on the top floor was great to be able to sit on the balcony with the (very close) sea view & great to hear the waves.

Lots of walks straight from the door, which was handy with the dog. Very spacious & clean, loved the super king size bed, more comfy than mine at home. Didn't need the heating on, despite it being March & quite cool outside at times, a very warm house. Asda, Iceland & a few essential shops in walking distance as well as the usual seaside ones & Welsh unique ones too. Contact during the stay was efficient & they answered immediately about a small issue we had. Could do with some better cooking utensils as the plastic masher bends when you use it, also needs a bread knife & a heat pad for putting pans on straight from the oven. We used a bath mat by the patio doors so we weren't bringing wet in from outside as all the shoes were left downstairs. Places with a visit: The Ty Coch Inn (Morfa Nefyn), The Tin Man (Llanbredroch), The Ship Inn (Llanbredroch) Y Madryn Inn (Chwillog), all of which are dog friendly, just to name a few. A great find, would definitely stay again if in the area.

We stayed here from 17th-24th February and we absolutely loved the house.

It’s so cosy and warm. The sea view is beautiful and really makes the stay enjoyable waking up to the sound of the waves and the view in the morning.. I enjoyed a nice glass of wine in the evening looking out. We had some nice sunny days but can imagine in summer getting the full benefit out of the house and being able to sit out on the balcony. As this house is pet friendly, we could smell dog wee on the ground floor but not the rest of the house.. The Dyson vac didn’t seem to work properly as it was quite clogged up so we did give it a good clean out and it then it worked. Overall, we had a lovely time and would definitely return here. The location is nice but was quiet in February, I can imagine it’s much more livelier in summer. There’s some nice little shops and takeaways in the centre, there’s also a Wetherspoons which is always a winner with us. Lovely house and lovely place. Thanku to the hosts for such a nice experience with my family.

Excellent position, great off street parking.

The property is well maintained, everything worked perfectly. You need to enjoy stairs as the property is over three stories, however the view is worth it. Only negative, stayed early January, would have been nice if the heating had been on.

Absolutely fabulous!

A comfortable and spacious house with an amazing view. We had a very enjoyable week and hope to return again soon. Suggestion - After removing our boots on the ground floor a soft broom and dustpan would have been useful to sweep up the sand from all our lovely beach walks (hoover not working). Many thanks.

Excellent location in terms of the beach.

Sad that a lot of local eating places have closed due to covid. Property has the wow factor, so nice to always look at the sea. Shame about the showers. Need to either be properly designed wet room or sealed door. Finishing touches- washing up bowl req. We really enjoyed our stay, beds were comfortable

Hi, Thank you for the stay, firstly fantastic location with lovely views out to the sea.

Also property updated to a nice standard. We found the duvet to be be very difficult to sleep in because it was too hot. Also the fan in the bathroom next to the main bedroom was banging from the outside therefore keeping us awake.. It says in your welcome pack to help yourself to the toiletries but we found none on arrival, yes I agree bring your own main toiletries but I expected at least a bar of soap. In each bathroom. I was more shocked with the lack of cutlery and drinking cups in the kitchen, ok we had enough for one each on certain things but if we wanted a toast for our stay here then two people missed out . You definitely need to supply more cups and drinking glasses. Finally the fridge/freezer kept turning itself off. For instance one day we climbed Snowdon and when we came back we were looking forward to toasting our success. Unfortunately the drink in the fridge was lukewarm so had to delay that by puttthe bottle in the freezer until it was cold enough. We did have to throw some food out as it had started to smell. Thanks for the stay, if you can iron out these few things then it would be one of the top places to stay in.

We had the most amazing stay at 26 Awel Y mor, The actual advertising pictures don’t give it justice, The house is absolutely stunning, the location is amazing and the cleanliness is a definite 10 out 10.

Sitting on the balcony listening to the sea was so relaxing, we are booking again next year.

This is a lovely property with fantastic sea views in a relatively quiet location.

In general we had everything we needed. However, we did miss not having a cafetiere, which is something available in most Sykes properties.

Absolutely amazing!

I can’t say hand on heart I’ve ever stayed anywhere in the UK as nice as this. It has everything you need for a very comfortable holiday. It felt like home away from home. The views are amazing considering it’s by the sea it’s still very quiet. Everything you need for shopping is on your doorstep, the beach is beautiful. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place or visit again.
