We had a lovely week at Sand and Serenity.

The location was amazing and I miss waking up to that beautiful view. Having the beach just outside was fantastic for the dogs and with having long sandy walks twice a day, they were very content to chill all day. Looking at past reviews, I expected some carpet stains but, quite honestly, they weren't that bad and would be difficult to properly clean until the end of season. Considering the quick turnover, the carpets wouldn't have time to dry before the next people arrived. Fortunately, both of my dogs are completely house trained but it actually made me less paranoid knowing that the carpets weren't pristine. Past reviews have also said that it smells, it does not. The best things about the accommodation are... 1. The view 2. The beds were so comfortable. 3. The showers were super powerful and my skin felt so soft afterwards. A couple of small negatives... 1. The sofa was not comfortable. 2. No oven glove could be found 3. Not enough toilet paper given on holder and no replacement rolls. 4. The flies! They were awful, I think fly sceens would be a good investment for the windows. I would totally book again and would put Sand and Serenity in my top 3 of holiday destinations.

The accommodation is very nice, location is well described and ideal for those looking for a quiet stay, in a quiet village with limited but adequate facilities.

The accommodation itself is generally nice and clean, but being at the upper end of pricing, does require more attention with regards TLC. E.g. the inside of the main shower, bottom edge and corners, cupboard under the sink is wet due to leaking sink waste pipe. The owner is aware of the carpet stains and a previous complaint of smells due to dogs pee, and has given assurance that this is being addressed. In brief, we would be happy to stay here again, because we accept the concerns of the owners and reassurance that the matters raised are being dealt with. There was evidence that the carpets had received some recent cleaning. Sand and Serenity, ‘is’ a lovely place to stay. Glenda Godfey. Stayed 2/3/4 Oct 2026

big let down with all the carpets , dog stains and odour through out , lounge was the worse However , the caravan it’s self was immaculate thought out , very high standards , carpets clearly need cleaning or replacing , they were disgusting And clearly will put people off , including myself Looking at previous feeds back carpets are highlighted , clearly nothing done
