Cedar Cottage

Wonderful cottage with everything you need for a lazy week in Norfolk.

Close drive to Wroxham which is great for a bit of shopping and hiring a boat to potter about on for the day. Only a minor inconvenience, but the fridge is in a utility room at opposite end of the cottage to the kitchen, so lots of back and forth when making drinks. Not really a major issue unless you have mobility problems and spending a lot of time in the property for meals etc... We also found the mattresses quite hard, but again didn't really affect sleeping at all, and mainly down to personal preference. Our cockapoo thoroughly enjoyed the wrap around garden and walks around the local area. Overall, would love to stay here again. Si

A lovely spacious comfortable cottage.

One annoying thing was the broken toilet seat in the en suite which we were surprised to see another guest had mentioned in the Guest Book back in April. A couple of casserole dishes would have been useful and we did have to wash cups and glasses when we arrived as they were sticky. Small irritations in what is a really beautiful cottage which we would definitely recommend.

It was the second time we've stayed there and will definitely be back.

As a retired letting agent I have to say Cedar Cottage was definitely in the top class.

It is an absolute credit to the owner. The position is convenient for the main hubs of the northern Broads, Wroxham, Horning and Potter Heigham and if you are an Indian Food lover the Tamarind restaurant around the corner is the best I have had. Another trip to Norfolk would certainly warrant another stay at Cedar Cottage. Also congratulations to Sykes, I have never travelled with them before but I will again, they make everything so easy.

Clean, tidy, everything you need and perfect location for visiting Norfolk and Great Yarmouth. We had a few questions while we were there and the Host was quick to respond and help. We had a great 3 night stay so thank you.

Our feedback is specific to our requirements and may not be a concern for others Garden area needed tidying, Fence broken in parts, Garden Furniture and awning covered in cobwebs.

Patio and Pathway full of weeds. Garage Door needs washing down. These were not a problem but would make the property more appealing. Internally the location of the Fridge to the Kitchen area is not practical. The oversize furniture makes it difficult to move around (we had to push the coffee table up against the sofa in order to make the movement between kitchen/Dining area to utility/Bedrooms easier. One of our dogs found the wooden floor extremely slippery and we had to purchase additional carpet runners in order for him to come into the house. Location is excellent. The above should not be viewed as negative as the property in itself is clean and has everything required for an enjoyable stay. These are just minor points that in our view would heve it better for us.

Loverly bungalow in a good location on a very pleasant estate.

Ideal for sightseeing the broards area.The property is modern and well furnished.The kitchen is well kitted out with everything needed for a party of six. We really enjoyed our stay.

Tastefully decorated bedrooms all with smart TV"s Location was lovely amd quiet but within easy reach of Norwich and the Broads and only a 45 minute drive to Cromer.

This property is lovely, the property is decorated and finished to a high standard, has everything you need for a great stay and to prepare and cook food, the location is lovely if you want to get away from it all and relax and the garden is great, our dog loves it.

The only small negative is the bed in the main room is quite noisy and very hard, the utility room is very cold. The owner has been really lovely and helped out alot, we would definitely stay again.

We spent Christmas at Cedar Cottage and the owners had put a pretty Christmas tree up and some decorations and it was very cosy and festive .

There were 6 of us and our doggies and there was plenty of room for us all to relax in the lounge area and watch a film etc. We didn’t do too much exploring of the local area . We had a fabulous time . The garden was very secure for the dogs Would definitely recommend a stay at Cedar Cottage

Beautiful cottage, modern and really clean and comfortable.

Great to have a secure garden that really is secure for the dog. Great location and central most places. Would recommend and would love to stay here again some time again

Spacious, clean & comfortable & dog friendly with a lovely wrap around secure garden. All amenities provided. In a lovely, quiet area, yet close to many sites. Highly recommend, we had a fantastic stay

Upon arrival i was a bit perplexed that the property was on a housing estate, but I quickly realised that it was very quiet and peaceful so in the end it didn't matter, cedar cottage is in a great place for exploring Norfolk, with Norwich close by and the broads just up the road, there is a bus stop just around the corner and shops and take aways too.

The property is spotlessly clean and very well maintained, it had everything needed to cook ny meal you may fancy, the beds were super comfy with great linen and the sofa was large and very sturdy and comfy too, the garden is large enough to play family games, maybe a gas bbq would be a great addition. We had a great great time and i would highly recommend this property and sykes to anyone without hesitation, great value for money. Thank you so much.

We loved our stay at cedar Cottage with our friends and two dogs.

The accommodation was very high quality and spotlessly clean. The fully enclosed garden was ideal for our furry friends and the easy clean flooring was a bonus, although one of our dogs was sliding around like it was an ice rink.

A very clean, well equipped property in a quiet location.

There was plenty of room for 6 adults, a labrador and a German shorthaired pointer, and the garden was ideal. Would definitely recommend Cedar Cottage. Thank you.
