57 Southend Road

It was great to visit 57 Southend Road again.

Even though we had less time to enjoy it this time, it was worth making the journey. The house is lovely, the owners so welcoming, and it is ideally positioned for so many other lovely parts of north Norfolk should you want to stray away from the timeless sea front. The front of house double bedroom can be a bit noisy if the windows are open at night, but this clean, comfortable and convenient accommodation is worth it!

We had a lovely time at this property it is situated in a prime position to the centre.

The property is very clean and has lots of facilities. The garden is an added bonus to sit in when the sun is out. The lemon drizzle cake and apple juice that was left for us on our arrival was a lovely thing to do and was very yummy

The property is so clean and well equipped with everything you need. The cake and apple juice provided was a nice treat on arrival! It's very close to the beach, shops and restaurants. Would love to stay again one day. Thank you.

A lovely clean, very well equipped property.

Very convenient for both the beach and town area, and there is a large Tesco just a few minute's walk away for shopping and breakfast! Also really handy for buses which stop just down the road. Although there isnt any parking, we managed to park in the road behind the cottage, and there is a short cut to it a few houses down. 1 thought...somewhere to hang your clothes in the bathroom would be beneficial. The drizzle cake and apple juice were delicious and the milk and starter tea, coffee and sugar for a cuppa, was also very welcome after a long journey. We had a lovely stay

One of the best equipped properties we've stayed at and spotlessly clean.

Tons of storage space, brilliant kitchen and a great shower and bath. It's also in a great location - right next to the Seal boat tours and the Sea Life Centre, the bus stop and a Tesco.

My sister, nephew and I enjoyed our stay at the cottage.

1st time here but hopefully not last.

Lovely little break away.

The cottage was very clean (spotless) and comfortable. Lovely extras such as the apple juice and cake on arrival We explained it was for a break away after our wedding and on arrival there was a card and gift voucher which was very kind and thoughtful! The only 2 downsides are very narrow stairs so not good for disabled and no parking out front other than that it was perfect!! Location was good as just a short walk away from the centre. We would definitely recommend and stay here again!!

It was lovely to arrive after a long journey to find delicious treats and essentials such as milk and tea. Everything is easy to operate, and parking at Tesco’s was straightforward with the app. Highly recommended!

This was a very well equipped property, the owners had thought of everything we could need.

There was a feeling of welcome with cake, juice and milk. There was the bonus of a lovely garden with seating. It was a few minutes walk from Tesco's and near the beach and centre of Hunstanton.

Absolutely brilliant!

Attention to detail, and the little touches ( welcome gifts, fresh flowers, ) just made it extra special. Garden area is lovely although we didn't use it due to weather but surveyed it all from the conservatory . Position of the cottage is ideal, 3 to 5 min walk to shops restaurants and beach. Great communication from the owners.

Lovely, clean, warm, well-equipped house close to the shops and restaurants, including a few minutes' walk from the beach.

It was easy to find free, unrestricted parking round the back on Crescent Road (may not be the same during the summer). Bit of traffic noise from Southend Road (particularly in wet weather) but the double glazing worked well to dampen this. Highly recommended :)

Lovely accommodation in good location for visiting attractions in the surrounding area.

This clean and comfortable cottage was well equipped, with the bonus of a small garden. Welcome gifts of lemon drizzle cake, apple juice and milk were much appreciated. Lack of on street parking was easily resolved by booking an online parking space at the nearby Tesco.

Lovely little house just a minute or two’s walk from the beach.

Clean and tidy, with all the bits and bobs you need for a few days away, plus a few extra goodies (the lemon cake was delicious!). Ideal location for exploring Hunstanton and beyond. And lack of designated parking is no issue as there is an easy to use car park just across the road (we paid £18 for 48hrs and did it all via an app, so no dashing around to keep buying tickets).

Great house ,very well equipped with all we needed,great kitchen plenty of cutlery, crockery, glasses,baking trays all sparkling clean .

lovely easy to use shower having a bath aswell was a bonus. Comfortable bed , Extra toilet down stairs, great. lovely laid out garden , couldn't fault a thing .we would definitely book again .Well done to the owners .

One or two very very minor issues which after meeting the owner Amanda (a lovely lady) took on board, but it doesn’t stop us giving 10/10.

She has a wonderful property and can be proud of the work she does to keep it up to the very high standards that it has now.

This cottage was a real find-so beautifully restored and clean, with everything you need.

We entered to find homemade drizzle cake, and apple juice and milk in the fridge. I would have given five stars, if the bed, which was very comfortable, had been kingsized rather than double! Thank you for a wonderful stay

Light, airy and uncluttered. The kitchen was very well equipped. The bathroom was luxurious. The bed was comfortable and warm. Couldn't ask for more.

We would have liked a set of Chest of drawers in the bedroom.

Gorgeous comfortable cottage in the perfect location.

Lovely welcome pack from the owners and much appreciated by the children. They were enchanted by their surroundings and didn't want to leave. Check out 'your parking space' on line. We paid £ 14 for a week on the tesco car park which is only a minutes walk away. Very convenient.

We loved the cottage and its gravel garden.

As an old person, however, ( I am 90) I had to be careful on the top stairs. I clung onto the good wooden bannister and the landing balustrade, but the latter was a bit wobbly and needs attention. Younger people have no trouble at all. There was nowhere to put my towel when I had a shower, as the rack was so high up that I could not reach. Again, younger people had no trouble. We were very impressed by the modernisation .

What a lovely place to stay for a holiday in Norfolk!

The cottage was immaculately clean and very well equipped, with an attractive and sunny garden. Great location for walking into town, the beach and Tescos, and although the cottage didn't have parking it was easy to find a parking place in streets behind the cottage.

57. Perfect location, a stones throw from the beach. The house was very clean and comfortable with a lovely outside space. The owners made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended.
