Vintner's Cottage

We would highly recommend Vintners Cottage.

It was very comfortable, clean and accurately described. The garden was lovely, with views at the rear over surrounding countryside. There was plenty of seating areas. Sue was very helpful and left a welcome hamper which was appreciated. We would definitely stay again.

Please change the settee for a comfortable one!

!! We can't rate the comfort because of the comforrt of the settee. We also couldn't find a first aid box which my husband needed after bangng his head going through one of the doors!!!

From booking to arrival, this was an easy experience.

The cottage is very pretty, tastefully decorated and has a charming garden too. It is well equipped with everything you could need for your stay in this quiet village. Sue, the owner, kept in touch throughout our stay and without asking provided a new electric fan in advance of hot weather. The cottage is easy to find and only a 10 minute walk from a pub serving good food at great prices. I would highly recommend Vintner's Cottage and would return.

Beautiful cottage Lovely stay.

Welcome hamper a really treat especially the eggs. Hope to return

Lovely cottage, with everything you could ask for.

Very good for dogs too, with the great garden. A perfect base from which to explore the area.

My daughter and I have had a wonderful week at Vintners cottage.

This is a really quaint cottage in a lovely village, surrounded by good walks, a short drive to the coast and a great ride into Norwich on the train from Cantley. The cottage has kept a lot of it's original character with the stable doors the beams and the original staircase, which is lovely, the kitchen is well equipped and the bedrooms are set out perfectly, there are also beautiful touches made throughout the propertyo make it feel so homely. The garden is also a hidden gem, with beautiful plants, little elegant touches and a view you couldn't get bored of. We will definitely be back. We highly recommend a visit you won't be disappointed Wishing the owners all the best for the future Geoff and Paula

I really enjoyed Vintners Cottage at Freethorpe and we visited Great Yarmouth, also travelling by train to Norwich and Cromer.

I am 81 and my friend is 83. We had read the cottage listing and understood there were steps and steep stairs. I am very fit and able to negotiate the stairs without problem, except for carrying a suitcase or bag upstairs (even more so when descending) which proved very difficult whilst hanging on to the rope ladder. Perhaps this should be specified. My friend used the downstairs facilities and bedroom. This lovely cottage is more suited to younger folk.

This was a really beautiful cottage house , we loved our stay , it was cosy annd warm , especially with the log fire.

A lovely kitchen to cook in , facilities were good, beds were comfy. The house is done up to a good standard. You do need a car as there’s not much nearby. The only thing I would recommend to the owners would be to cover the 2 lifted pavement slabs in the garden , as I did trip over 1 , maybe 2 nice flower pots on top. But overall , for sure I would love to stay there again

Lovely home, had an enjoyable stay

Delighful cottage well looked after.

We stayed for new year. Lovely location only 20 minutes from beaches and the broads. We went as 2 couples. We did struggle with the smaller bedroom as there was no wardrobe so we had to leave our belongings in suitcase in bathroom. Only 2 small bedside cabinets . Overall we had a lovely time at cottage and would recommend it.
