Offering incredible, far-reaching views of the sand dunes and sea at Winterton Beach, Drifters provides stunning accommodation for a family or group wanting to escape to this relaxing coastal Norfolk Village.
Drifters is a spacious, detached property on a private road in Winterton-on-Sea with a driveway offering parking for up to three vehicles and a small lawned area at the front of the property.
A key box code is required to get inside the property, where you will be met with a grand entrance hall with lovely wooden flooring, leading through to a spacious sitting room which has two sofas and an arm chair, each positioned around the Smart TV with Sky package, perfect for unwinding at the end of the day, there are two sets of French doors that provide lots of light and lead into the huge conservatory, which spans the length of the back of the house.
This is one of the highlights of the property, offering uninterrupted sea views, as well as a sofa from which to admire them and a dining table and chairs where you can enjoy home-cooked meals together and take in the incredible scenery.
The generously-sized kitchen has lovely white cupboards with dark work tops and provides plenty of space for preparing meals, or perhaps a picnic to take to the beach, there's even a dishwasher so you don't have to give the washing up a second thought.
The ground floor features two bedrooms, a king-size double and a bunk room, both overlooking the front of the property, both are very spacious and offer plenty of storage space for your belongings.
A shower room with nautical-style decor of white tiled floor and blue wood panelling provides a walk-in shower and means there will be no fighting with people upstairs to use the bathroom!
Heading up the carpeted staircase, there are a further two bedrooms on the first floor; the master king-size overlooks the sea and has an en-suite shower room for added convenience, while a twin bedroom with ample storage and more incredible sea views completes the line up.
A charming snug can be found sandwiched between the two bedrooms, with a feature window that looks out to sea and a bookcase filled with books, it's the perfect spot for a quiet moment to sit back and enjoy a book, or simply to just admire your coastal setting.
The family bathroom completes the layout and has a bath with shower over, so you can choose how you wish to get ready for each day.
You can access the rear garden through the conservatory's French doors, where you'll be met with a patio area with table and chairs, ideal for alfresco dining whilst listening to the waves and enjoying the fresh sea breeze, there is also a large lawn and concrete steps that lead to a gate and down a path that takes you through the sand dunes and straight onto the sandy beach in less than five minutes.
Winterton Beach is right on your doorstep; take advantage of walks along the sand, dip your toes in the cool waters or take your four-legged companion to stretch their legs as there are no dog restrictions.
Winterton-on-Sea is a quiet and charming village, a couple of miles north of Great Yarmouth, and hosts a selection of shops, pubs, restaurants, a post office, beach-side café and award-winning fish and chip shop.
The village is steeped in history, and dates back as far as the Doomsday book, while its Holy Trinity Church has elements that date back to the 13th century.
Animal lovers will relish in a visit to Winterton Dunes National Nature Reserve , home to a host of wildlife including seal colonies and Natterjack toads.
Head down the coast for a greater selection of beaches, such as Caister-on-Sea, while Great Yarmouth is just over eight miles away, famed for its glorious sandy beach and Time and Tide Museum.
And you can't come to Norfolk without spending time exploring the magnificent Broads, hop on a boat and discover more than 125 miles of waterways with some unique scenery providing the backdrop.

Loved it at Drifters.
The dogs enjoyed the beach and sand dunes. Although watch out for the bird watchers. They are not keen on puppies who tend to be a tad over enthusiastic and far too friendly for them. We learnt to keep him on the lead when they were about, just until you get over the dunes. The steps down to the beach...yes, if you are 60 plus with arthritis in every joint going, like me, are a little daunting, but the listing does make you aware of these and if I can do them, with a hiking stick to hand, then I'm sure you will be fine. You just need to take your time. Slowly does it, and the rewards at the bottom are waiting for you Everything you need to enjoy your break is available at the accommodation. The owner is super helpful if you need any help with anything. Lovely refreshing holiday. Will hope to pay a return visit next year . Debs and family Oct 2026
We absolutely loved our stay at Drifters - what an amazing property and location.
The accomodation is extremely spacious (relaxing areas for everyone), comfortable, clean and well maintained. The views of the sea, and proximity to the beach, perfect. The owner was extremely welcoming, contacting us prior to arrival and approachable if we had a question. The treats on arrival were very thoughtful. The kitchen is well equipped and we loved the conservatory for its incredible views of the sea. Take binoculars to watch the shipping, seals and birdlife. Perfect for dog owners, the garden is fully enclosed and walking down the private steps you have instant access to the dunes through to the beach. Horsey was incredible for seals - they lie basking on the beach in large numbers. From Drifters you can walk along the beach to the village cafes, pub, fish and chip shop and a well stocked village shop. Walking the coastal path is superb - we hardly touched the car all week. Drifters is an excellent property in a wonderful location. We cannot recommend it highly enough and are looking forward to returning. Thank you for an amazing holiday!
Drifters was brilliant for a 3 generation holiday.
It was extremely well equipped and very clean. The views over the sea were amazing and it was great to have our own step access to the beach, which were easy to manage with the hand rails for a 2 year old and a 70 year old! It was so quiet, even on the beach, which is unusual for August school holidays. We’ll definitely be coming back.
