  • "A lovely spacious apartment with lovely sea views and good off road parking."

Right on the cliff path for walks along the coast. We had stayed in this apartment before and were surprised to see it advertised as having 2 bedrooms because I clearly remembered a room with bunk beds that was not mentioned. That room was made up for visitors, complete with towels so don’t understand why there was no mention in the details. There were only 2 in our party but larger groups might discard this lovely holiday home. I would certainly visit again.

  • "A fabulous apartment in a great location."

We really enjoyed our Christmas break here. The view is lovely especially when cold and wet outside. You don’t feel like you’re missing out by staying indoors as you can see the sea from the window. Nice place to relax, walk and explore. We love Sheringham and the North Norfolk coast it’s just perfect for a week away. Had a few meals out, we got the train to Norwich so we were able to enjoy cocktails celebrating our Daughters 21st birthday and no need to drive anywhere. The double bed was too hard for me but that’s just preference nothing to do with the standard. I’m told I should have slept in the twin room as the beds were super soft in there. We would definitely go back and wouldn’t hesitate too recommend too anybody.

The only downside is that the heating kept coming on at a high temperature, despite us turning it down....

Thanks for your feedback. We have an ongoing program of decoration and refurbishment for the apartment. We have completed the kitchen, bathroom, recently decorated the main sitting room and hallway and replaced all the windows at the property. The main bedroom is scheduled for refurbishment over the next few months. The hall carpet has been cleaned twice but the mark keeps reappearing. We think a guest spilled something like suntan lotion. Anyway we have decided to replace the hall and stair carpet and that will be done as soon as possible. We have also brought forward our planned spring clean. Linen is replaced regularly but we will be checking again to ensure any not up to standard is removed from use Property Owner

The view was outstanding, the photos didn’t do it justice. Being only about 200 metres away from the sea, it was so convenient but also beautiful to watch the sunset on an evening. I did however leave feedback in the comments book at the property itself. The stay at the property exceeded my expectations on all levels. Both Sykes staff and the owner of the property couldn't do enough to ensure my stay was comfortable and safe as I was on my own for most of the trip with my dog Murphy. The apartment was very secure, welcoming, comfortable, warm and very well stocked throughout with a couple of nice touches added in too. The quality of the bed linen and towels were excellent as was the beds. The shower was perfect and plenty of hot water on tap! The sea view from the apartment was lovely and although I stayed there during the return of the 'beast from the east' storm with very strong (cold) winds and rain, it was great to be able to view the sea changing throughout the day and evening with the comfort of a warm, cosy apartment and upstairs fire which heated the upstairs quite quickly indeed. I would have no hesitation staying at this property again and am hoping to book a short break very soon, subject to availability! I have already recommended this property to family and friends. Once again thank you to Sykes for going the extra mile to ensure my stay was complete. I have too recommended your organisation to friends and family. Much appreciated, Linda & Murphy
