Description

Ty Coed is a beautifully presented, detached house resting in the heart of Abersoch.

A superb dwelling for a group or large family of 10, Ty Coed boasts ample off-road parking for up to four vehicles and a boat or jet ski, as well as dog-friendly accommodation.

Upon entering the property, walk down the hallway to find an excellent kitchen/diner, where the designated chef can head to the shaker-style kitchen to prepare delicious meals with the ample appliances, including a dishwasher and wine chiller, and granite worktops; the dining area boasts an oak dining table that can be expanded to seat all of the group.

After enjoying dinner, gather the group in the sitting room where you can settle down on the abundant seating and enjoy a chilled night on the TV; those wishing to relax in a quiet spot can head to the snug, an inviting space featuring stylish seating and a TV.

Completing the ground floor is the utility, where you can throw sandy clothing into the washing machine, and leave any beach equipment and wetsuits in the storage area.

Climb the stairs to the first floor, where five well-appointed bedrooms await, the first one being a king-size enjoying tranquil, earthy tones throughout, another king-size showcasing coastal accents, a vibrant double, a twin and a bunk room.

The bedrooms share access to two impressive bathrooms, the first one being a spacious room with a large, p-shaped bath and freestanding basin for you to freshen up with, and the other being a shower room with a double walk-in cubicle; there is also a cloakroom containing a basin and WC, for extra convenience.

A quaint courtyard can be found to the rear of the property, where you can savour a moment of peace and quiet with a captivating book-in-hand.

The property's central location means that your amenities are just a short walk away from the property, from convenience stores to highly rated restaurants, including St Tudwals Inn; after exploring the high street, wander down to the coast to find two excellent beaches, Abersoch Harbour Beach and Abersoch Main Beach, along with an award-winning golf club, Abersoch Golf Club.

Walk the Llŷn Coastal Path towards the southern end of the Llŷn Peninsula to find three more stunning beaches, including Machroes and Hells Mouth, as well as the Cilan Headland, where you can take in those panoramic sea views or visit the Cilan Riding Centre, to enjoy a day of venturing through the coastal scenery on horseback.

Just north of Abersoch is the friendly village of Llanbedrog, where you can sunbathe or walk along on the popular, dog-friendly beach as you spot the sights of Cardigan Bay, or explore the historical landmarks within the village, from the Plas Glyn-y-Weddw Gallery to the chapel of Rehoboth.

The market town of Pwllheli is just moments away and hosts a selection of attractions that are waiting to be visited, along with a train station where you can board the train to discover the towns of Porthmadog and Criccieth or change at Porthmadog to access the Welsh Highland Heritage Railway, where fascinating destinations within Gwynedd await.

For a memorable stay with all the family, choose Ty Coed.

Beautiful property, very well equipped and very comfortable.

The outdoor seating area was lovely, larger than the pictures led us to believe and the location was brilliant, especially with small children to get to and from the beach etc. Two suggestions however. The hot water was scalding hot in the kitchen, almost dangerous, perhaps this could be adjusted down? And whilst the curtains in both front bedrooms looked lovely, they didnt close or keep out the light at all, leading to the rooms being very light by 5am. All in all however we loved the house and would definitely return/recommend.

Had a fantastic stay at Ty Coed.

The house was perfectly located with easy access to town and the beach. Everything was great - comfortable, well kitted-out kitchen, nicely decorated. Great communication from the owner too. Already planning our return trip!
