This lovely cottage is in a quiet area but only a 20min walk to the beach, it's very well equipped and was warm and cosy, the bed was very comfy too.

We would definitely like to return!!!

Nice cottage in a peaceful location on a lovely island. Within walking distance of the wonderful coastal path. We will certainly return.

Craig Mawr cottage is a beautiful well kempt holiday home.

It has all the amenities needed to make your stay pleasurable. The owners provided plenty of towels and bedding and even left a large selection of games we could play. We were left a nice bottle of wine milk and Welsh cakes on our arrival which is a nice touch. Our 8 year old granddaughter said its been her favourite holiday so far. We were lucky to have beautiful weather and a lovely beach nearby to visit. We would definitely recommend Craig Mawr to others. Janb (Leigh)

I am a professional cleaner and found that the flooring downstairs wasn’t as clean as it should be.

Attention to detail unfortunately my standards are high when it comes to cleaning. I loved the cottage, well equipped and beautiful location just a short walk from Benllech. Only problem with the location is that taxis don’t want to work after a 10:00.

Firstly, we’ve had a lovely week‘s holiday and the Graig Mawr is very comfortable and in the main very well decorated.

The location is ideal, peaceful and quiet. The welcome gift of Prosecco and Welsh cakes was very thoughtful and much appreciated. The kitchen was lovely and had everything we needed. A few small things could have made a massive difference and the previous reviewers (online and in the property’s guest book) had pointed some of them out. 1. Bathroom cleanliness really lets the property down: mold around the toilet and cistern as well as around the bath. We cleaned off the mold around the toilet easily. Toilet seat loose, shower curtain badly stained. 2. No back door key. A telephone call to the owner fixed this quickly. The owner was very friendly and helpful/responsive. The patio door does need some adjusting, the instructions do say it is tricky BUT in the hot weather it could not be closed until it cooled down out of the sun and only then by lifting the right hand door! 3. Garden / outdoor care lacking. Side passage, which is the first impression as you retrieve the key was scruffy, full of leaves and as a result really slippery. The back patio would be lovely if weeded a bit. 4. Basic bits and bobs - there was only one bin bag, there were pegs but no washing line, only one full loo roll, no cleaning spray for the kitchen (or the bathroom). We fixed or bought (and left) most the bits and bobs. The difference between a good and an outstanding property was probably about £10… Overall, although very lovely property but the reason for such detailed feedback is that it left us with the feeling that Sykes were not putting all the love and care in that this property deserves, which was a shame.

Cottage was very comfortable but a few things let it down.

The bathroom needs a bit of renovation,grouting mouldy around the bath and the shower curtain was dirty.A very loose toilet seat was not ideal. In the kitchen there was only one tea towel,even that had a hole. Outside the garden and front drive were full of weeds and leaves everywhere at the side of the property.

We had a lovely stay at Craig Mawr.

The cottage was well equipped, very comfortable, especially the bed, and it was in a quiet location. We mostly spent our time in the lovely kitchen overlooking the garden. There was a welcome pack when we arrived which was a nice touch.

The Cottage was really clean, comfortable and cosy.

It was well equipped with everything that we needed and had a lovely kitchen. The beds and sofas were really comfortable. Very tastefully decorated. A lovely back garden and a good parking area at the front of the Cottage. It is close to Benllech with some lovely walks. The beach in Benllech is really pretty and sandy. Beautiful scenery all around. Well recommended.

Could do with a clothes airer to enable guests to dry things outside.

I am aware that there is a washer dryer but not everything can be dried this way and it would be more economical as less electricity is being used.

A lovely and cosy cottage, set off the beaten track, in a pleasantly quiet setting.

Perfect place to discover so much that Anglesey has to offer and a nice walk down to enjoy the beach at Benllech. A nice welcome gift from the owners, and great communication from them quickly.

Would certainly recommend this property to anyone and would consider returning in the future if we stayed in Anglesey.

The property was comfortable, a great size, in a good location and had everything we needed.

The owners had left us a couple of essentials upon arrival, which was a lovely touch. The only slightly negative opinion, would be that the cleanliness of the property could improve slightly. I found a cobweb in the bathroom and the windowsills and a few of the wooded surfaces in the dining room were very gritty/dusty. Other than that, a perfect stay and would definitely return to stay again.

The cottage was perfect.

The couches & beds very comfortable. The whole cottage was very clean & the kitchen was extremely well equipped . The soundbar was a nice touch as i could listen to the radio on my phone. The only small critisism was the tv and the heating - i struggled to understand the instructions to use both.

Graig Mawr is a small house located in a quieter area of Benllech about one mile from the town centre and lovely beach.

The house was beautifully clean when we arrived and fully met our expectations reflecting an accurate perception of the property suggested by the photographs provided by Sykes Cottages. We were provided with comfortable self-catering accommodation which provided us with every facility possible for seven nights as well as a drive way to park the car on. The rental cost of Graig Mawr for a one week visit was exceptionally good value for money and I cannot recommend Graig Mawr highly enough. We would be very happy to return there in the future.

A lovely house in a very quiet area.

House was immaculately clean and had everything you could possibly need to have a nice stay there. One bonus is that you get red squirrels every morning come to visit. I would highly recommend this property and would definitely go again.

Very nice place , a little bit out of the way and janes taxi service would run us back from Benllech because they said it was a 5 minute walk , which it really isnt , my partner was convinced somebody had been in the garden while we were out but im not sure so cant comment , otherwise couldent fault it , thanks

We really enjoyed our holiday in Anglesey and our stay at this lovely cottage.

It was very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed sitting in the kitchen and looking out at the birds in the morning over breakfast, the bouncy lambs in the field apposite and a red squirrel wandering down the road. The bedrooms are very cosy and comfortable. There are good local beaches and we enjoyed visiting other parts of the island.
