Description

Brondderwen is a lovely stone detached cottage, resting in a slightly elevated position next to a stream on the outskirts of Blaenau Ffestiniog, in North Wales.

Internally, the property has been renovated to provide a warm and contemporary base to explore all that the beautiful Eryri National Park (Snowdonia) has to offer, whilst also boasting period features such as exposed beams, stonework and lintel walls.

The best way to access the property is through the lower ground floor entrance into the cosy kitchen, fitted to a high standard with a range of contemporary appliances, for cooking up delicious meals and a Belfast sink adding to that country feel of the property.

To save any washing up after meal-time, there is a handy dishwasher available too.

Follow the steps up to the first-floor to discover a spacious open-plan living room and dining area.

Perfect to cosy up with your loved ones on the sofas after a day exploring the Welsh mountains, and discuss the day's events whilst the warming woodburning stove provides that extra bit of comfort.

Delight in the far-reaching views to the mountain range, which makes for a wonderful viewing pleasure whilst watching the sunrise.

Gather at the dining table to enjoy your meals over a well-deserved glass of bubbly.

The second floor provides two well-presented bedrooms, a double and single.

There is a family shower room with deluxe fixtures and fittings so you can enjoy a shower at the end of a tiring day.

This property is a great base for touring all North Wales has to offer, including the hugely popular Zip World Bounce Below.

Unleash your inner thrill-seeker and explore the underground caverns, with zip wires for the more adventurous types.

You are within reach of the surrounding mountains for mountain biking and hiking, not to mention some trails for walking and cycling.

Discover the Steam Railway for exploring Snowdonia's best views and the nearby town of Porthmadog, with stunning beaches and a range of traditional eateries and shops.

Brondderwen is an excellent choice for a countryside break in the best of North Wales.

Lovely cottage and great walks close by.

Cosey at night with the log burner. The village had everything you need and nice pubs and restaurants close to.

Lovely cottage with an off road parking space which was very handy.

Location was ideal as a base camp for the Zip Worlds and Hiking routes we had planned.
