Description

Set within several acres of quiet woodland in the North Wales countryside, Plas Y Bryn offers simple, comfortable and practical accommodation across three separate dwellings – ideal for large groups looking for a relaxed place to stay together.

Cadwaladr provides plenty of space for everyone, with a large, functional kitchen equipped with two double ovens and two fridge/freezers, making it easy to prepare meals for a crowd. The homely sitting/dining room features comfortable sofas and a flat‑screen TV, giving your group a straightforward and welcoming place to unwind, eat and plan your days.

On the ground floor, five bedrooms each come with their own en‑suite shower room, offering easy access for guests with limited mobility. The first floor provides six additional king‑size rooms with en‑suite shower facilities, plus a bunk room with four adult‑sized bunk beds—ideal for families or groups who don’t mind practical shared sleeping arrangements. This floor also includes a wet room and a simple bathroom with a double bath for anyone wanting a quiet soak.

A casual games room offers extra space to relax, with air hockey, pool and a vintage arcade machine—perfect for low‑key evenings in.

When you’re ready to explore, the historic town of Caernarfon is close by, along with its famous castle and town walls. Outdoor enthusiasts can head into Snowdonia National Park for walking, cycling or tackling Snowdon itself. Peaceful lakeside walks, waterfalls and scenic railway rides offer gentler options.

Anglesey is also within easy reach, with its beaches, coastal paths and family‑friendly attractions such as Anglesey Sea Zoo and GreenWood Family Park.

Surrounded by beautiful landscapes and great places to explore, Cadwaladr is a straightforward and spacious base for groups wanting a comfortable, no‑frills getaway in North Wales.

What guests are saying

Luxurious it is not, although the space and equipment are fantastic for large groups, the general level of cleanliness and finish are lacking and property seems more aimed at party goers.

Having said that we had a great time with plenty of space and facilities for all to have a relaxed holiday including our dogs and property is ideally located for walks and day trips. The biggest downside was the rubbish and recycling area that was desperately in need of emptying and the fact that all the properties on site are joining and access is open to all.

It was a good size accommodation for a large group.

It would be nice and easier if the heating system was explained bit clear. Hot water was not sufficient for the big group. The cottage should have been better cleaned and maintained.
