What guests are saying
When we arrived after work there was only half a toilet roll, no dish cloth.
So with child in tow we had to find a shop that was open to get these things. We booked into the restaurant for tea on Saturday we left without eating ! The staff in the restaurant all had an argument in front of the customers the chef walked out and they decided to cook between themselves for the price we was paying I wasn’t happy with a waitress cooking my food. The staff in the bar in day were lovely. We booked into swimming in the heated pool it was absolutely freezing cold the heater was broken which I think they should have put a sign up, you didn’t know until you jumped in. Would I book here again no I wouldn’t it was very hit and miss and nothing else around it to do
Great place to stay, very peaceful and quiet, surrounded by woods and places to go for walks, about 5 minutes drive to the small town of Ruthin, but overall very happy with our stay, jacuzzi was lovely, the space in the living room area was sufficient and the swimming pool at the hotel was a great addition to our stay, would highly recommend to families.
I was very happy with the accommodation.
Very clean and the bed linen and towels were spotless too. The oven and combination microwave oven was an added bonus as catering for 4 adults and two teenagers and a young 4 year old can be quite hectic but cooked what everyone wanted for breakfast in no time. I was dubious after reading some of the reviews but everything was there cutlery wise and cooking wise. We would definitely go back again. Friendly staff too and hot tub and swimming pool brilliant.
