The pod was spotless, and had an amazing atmosphere when we arrived. Contact with the owners and their services was at the highest level from the start. The surrounding area and landscape were beautiful and it was an ideal spot for a break at the coast and beautiful Snowdonia. Highly recommend it and we will definitely be back :)

The driveway is an unmade track and the nearest pub is quite a hike to get to. However Jo has thoughtfully provided everything you need for your stay the only thing missing is a freezer.? Perfect getaway from it all

What an incredible hidden jem! Cosy, comfortable, clean, in such a picturesque setting we absolutely loved it ! The perfect place for a relaxing break away from it all , tho also an ideal destination for exploring North Wales , and also with nice places to eat within a short drive the plough being one , we also appreciated the safety for our little dog who also loved his little holiday , felt very sad to leave and already wanting to book our return.

  • "We absolutely loved our stay at the Idris Pod, the cabin came well equipped with everything you could need for a relaxing break away."

We switched off our phones and forgot about the outside world, playing games, having a bbq (which was kindly provided), sitting on the decking & enjoying the sunshine with some drinks and lazing in the hammocks. We went to Talacre beach which is around a 20 minute drive, we also visited The New Inn pub for lunch which has a lovely outdoor seating area with heated pods and across the road is a beautiful waterfall you can take a lovely stroll around there. Would highly recommend both. There are plenty of local walks & our little dog loved every second of his holiday too. Thankyou for having us Jo, we will be recommending to everybody.

  • "Idris Pod really is amazing!"

We have just had a fantastic week. The little pod is so cosy and you have everything you need and to a high spec too. The bed is so comfortable! I slept the best I have in ages and that’s coming from somebody waiting for a hip replacement and usually struggles to get comfortable. If you are looking for total relaxation then this is the place to go. Not that we did need anything as we have everything we could possibly need but the owners are nearby and more than happy to help.

  • "A truly ideal location for a relaxing break."

The Idris Pod was a little bit of luxury with panoramic views of the area and it was well-equipped, including those little extra touches to make things special. I booked this as a surprise for my husband's birthday and we had not stayed in this type of accommodation before, so I was a little nervous about what we would find. However, the whole experience was wonderful and we both loved it! The owners were very helpful and non-intrusive, but were on hand if needed. The pod had everything needed for us to enjoy our 4-night break. A cosy real fire (with plentiful supply of logs), a comfortable bed, reclining sofa to relax and watch a movie or two on the Amazon firestick, or listen to some music on the Amazon Echo. Books galore to cater for every genre and board games/playing cards too. A spotless bathroom with shower and toiletries and a well-equipped kitchen area. Easy access to the M55 from the Pod, which enabled us to travel into the Snowdonia National Park, to the coast and to Anglesey. The scenery was spectacular. We will definitely be re-visiting this wonderful accommodation in the springtime/summer to take advantage of the gardens, walks and hammocks! Thanks to Jo for the welcome pack on arrival too - very thoughtful. A definite 10/10.

Jo & Sion welcomed us and were there if we needed anything We wanted a holiday of peace and quiet with somewhere that could accommodate our young cocker spaniel, this was the perfect place The pod had everything there to make us as comfortable as possible, the tv reception is poor but we didn’t miss that at all and there is Netflix to be able to watch films which was ideal The grounds are lovely with plenty of room for dogs to explore while being in a safe environment For the adults there are plenty of lawn games to enjoy, or relax in one of the hammocks if the weather allows All in all a wonderful place with many beaches and towns easily accessible Would highly recommend Regards Bob & Lorraine Sutton Coldfield

St Asaph is home to a historic cathedral, dating back 1400 years in areas and holding the reputation of being the smallest, ancient cathedral in Britain. It is also renowned as the location where the Bible was translated into Welsh in the 16th century.
