Everything was comfortable and clean … quiet location …… toilet is downstairs from bedrooms ….

kitchen is apparently due an update as a bit limited ….does have an air fryer and washing machine which were useful. Smell mentioned in bathroom is stale water from shower outlet and the smell of heating oil was slightly overpowering if not used to it. Would recommend overall if wish to explore Flintshire, The Wirral and Chester.

The cottage it self was ok , my only thoughts were about the smell coming from the bathroom because it smelled like bad drains like rotten cabbage but was told it's because of a septic tank but honestly, it was awful to smell that every day when waking up to going bed at night , we had to keep the windows open constantly, i would of had a window put in the bathroom or a bigger extractor fan.

Also we had issues with one of the bedroom doors that couldn't shut properly and worried about shutting the door because of it waking my grandson up in the next room.
