Thos is an amazing cottage will deffo be staying here again or at any of the cottages on the site it’s away from everything but not to far away either easy to get out and about close to Penom point and Beaumaris we had a perfect stay and space for our big dog too

This was a very nice property in a quiet location not too far from amenities.

It was fitted out with good quality equipment and bedding. Comfortable and spacious with more then enough equipment for self catering.

The accommodation was very spacious and comfortable.

We had everything we needed and we loved the area!

When we arrived i read the instructions to set up WiFi looking for the sticker that was said to be in kitchen cupboard.

None there. It would have been nice if someone had met us. The barn was very comfortable but I did not realise bathroom/toilet downstairs There were 4 barns three had stunning view. Ours did not as cars parked in front of our bench.

We had a fabulous week staying Cwt Blawd, the cottage was more than we expected, it was extremely clean, well maintained and perfectly placed for getting out and about, everyone we met were extremely friendly and we would stay there again, it’s a beautiful part of the country.

It's a great property very well located near the coastal pathway, Penmon point and Beaumaris.

Very comfortable and well equipped, we had a great stay definitively looking forward to going back again.

Lovely place , great quiet location owners are lovely people and our only problem we found with the property is that the toilet is down stairs and was a bit of a problem in the middle of the night, but we would go back if ever we return to Anglesea .

A marvellous cottage set in a beautiful part of Wales.

The cottage provides anything you would ever need with the added bonus over views which are astounding. The owner is a gent made us welcome and provided an unexpected gift. Anyone wishing a holiday in a immaculate cottage this one I would highly recommend. Thankyou for a wonderful holiday.

I had a fantastic few days in Beaumaris and Penmon, and Cwt Blawd only enhanced it.

Very clean, with everything you need, and Gwyn and Toeni were very helpful, especially with the directions as Google Maps had a bit of a moment on the last 300 yards. I'd happily stay again in the future, as it's a brilliant spot to launch from for a day's adventure. Thanks again!

Friendly, warm and with everything we (two of us plus small dog) needed for a great holiday. A quiet location with views over the Menai Straits.

The property is very well presented and located in a quiet area but only a short drive away from all the sights.

The host was a pleasure to deal with and would highly recommend the property.

Many previous holidays in Wales but our first trip to Anglesey, wonderfull scenery & beaches.

Our stay greatly enhanced by this lovely homely cottage with its ambient temperature set in a quite location & offering sea views. Everything was clean, tidy & functional including TV, wi-fi etc. Pleased to recommend & thank you for a relaxing holiday. Janet & Dave (Shrops)

Overall the property was comfortable and well furnished.

The owners were friendly and very quick to respond if we needed anything. The location was peaceful with views over the Menai Straits and there was a lovely walk from the cottage down to the coast and back via a nature reserve. Our only criticism is that there was no tea/coffee/sugar provided, which is usual in self catering accommodation. We also had to ask for a dishcloth and salt. Again, these are basic requirements. Fortunately, the owners were there and were able to supply us straight away.

Had a very pleasant stay, the property was very clean and had everything you could want whilst staying there.

I had a lovely stay at Cwt Blawd with everything that I needed.

I would very much like to return. The only improvement I could suggest is a hook on the bathroom door for hanging dressing gown or clean clothes.

Cwd Blawd is a an outstanding property in the most beautiful location, the photo's really don't do it justice, its one of the nicest and largest properties for 2 people that we have stayed in, the facilities are of a very good quality and the area is so beautiful, you have views of the mountains and sea and plenty of walks, we have no hesitation in recommending this holiday rental, the 1 bedroomed property is joined to 2 others which sleep 4 and 6 making it ideal for larger groups that would like to be together but have their own space.

This property was perfect for us. As we walked in, the lounge/dining area was beautiful, with high ceilings and underfloor heating. A wonderful kitchen with everything you need, a very comfortable bed and quality bedding. The scenery was stunning all around . The owners were so friendly and hopefully will come back in the future. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Only downsides were occasional strong farm smells, but we really enjoyed our stay overall and would book again. Easy to find and check in. Good parking options.

The cottage was delightful, comfortable and very clean.

The owners had provided everything you could possibly need including a well stocked library of books and DVDs. The underfloor heating was a bonus and kept us toasty all week!

Lovely property with magnificent views.

Property was well equipped and very clean. It would benefit from a small side table or coffee table near the sofa /armchair.

Lovely stay thank you, the cottage was spotlessly clean, well furnished and well located.

If really pressed for improvements I suggest a coffee table in the sitting room which feels a little sparse, plus blinds for privacy on the kitchen door and window, a coffee plunger or percolator, and more shelf space in bathroom. Regrettably we had very noisy neighbours but that was not a fault of the cottage or owners, just luck of the draw.

We had a wonderful week at our cottage, it was all we expected and wanted.

There was a bottle of wine and some Welsh cakes awaiting us, such a nice touch. The cottage was well equipped, beautifully clean, plenty of towels and underfloor heating too! We were lucky with the weather and that was switched off for the week. We were Close to Beaumaris and the scenery was amazing. On the island it was not far to the countless beaches and the sea, a truly perfect island. Our cottage was just a one bedroomed one but there were two others that would accommodate a larger group, and still being finished was a five bedroomed one that would be great for a group off walking here, loads of places for that and all in view of the towering hills over the Water in north wales. It was May when we stayed and the gorse bushes were golden yellow everywhere, and the woods had blankets of bluebells. Also blossom trees that were dropping their petals and we walked through beds of pink blossom as they fell on us like confetti. A magical place to stay indeed. No complains whatsoever.

We had a lovely week at the cottage which has fabulous views across the bay.

The location is perfect for touring round the island with Beaumaris only 3 miles away. The owners were very friendly and we appreciated the gift of a bottle of wine and welsh cakes thank you. We would definitely stay again and can highly recommend the cottage.

Lovely place to stay and great value for money with everything that we needed, working farm at the the back door was not an issue at all.

If I were to be picky the living room could do with a coffee table and the bathroom needs a sanibin. 10/10

Location is perfect for getting away from it all. Accommodation also lovely although the lounge area could do with a little more furniture & home comforts. Would also benefit from having a washing machine, as the walks managed to get us a little muddy!

Friendly people.

Converted barn very well set out with plenty of room and nice and clean. So cool during the heatwave we had while we were there too. We enjoyed the peace and quiet. Great to see the sea in the distance, the horses behind us, and the thoughtful gift of Welsh cakes and a bottle of wine. Thank you.

The owner and family were very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely go back again.

The cottage was lovely, clean, warm & comfortable & ideally placed to enjoy the Island.

One thing that might be helpful would be an 'Information File' Glyn could not have been more helpful. The beach is a couple of minutes away & Dilly our cockapoo thought she was in heaven visiting it every day ! 'A little bit of paradise'. Thanks Glyn.

It is set in the most gorgeous location - the views are beautiful, it’s completely silent and peaceful, yet only a short drive to the beach and town. The living space is a great size, although the sofa was a bit small and not overly comfortable - recommend taking some throws with you to make it a bit cosier. You’re close to your neighbours, which normally we wouldn’t like, we prefer our privacy - but this was actually really nice, the other guests were so friendly and it was still really peaceful; it helped that the weather was perfect and we all just relaxed in the sun. The owners were lovely and accommodating when needed - we would definitely rebook and stay here again. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We are 72 years old and found the ground floor bathroom a bit of a problem but for younger folks it would be fine. There was no dishwasher, the bed was not too good and the furniture a bit sparse but overall we enjoyed our time there.

A great area to visit. Quiet location. No traffic noise. A few animal noises, which was nice. Added bonus, (not a complaint) would have been to have had a fenced enclosure on grass for our dog to romp in securely. But there was nearby footpaths through fields within a 5mins walk.

Excellent quiet location but very convenient for local beaches and Beamaris.

This was our first time on Anglesey and was a great place to travel from and to whilst exploring the rest of the island. Good to come back to a comfy base after some long walks. We have stayed in a lot of cottages and were impressed with the cleanliness, comfort and overall presentation. Hosts, Gwyn and Toni were were close at hand if anything was required. We would be very happy to stay here again and can highly recommend this cottage.

Beautiful cottage amazing views lovely walks and beach close by beaumaris 10 MTs in car benllech is a must to visit lovely to see horses at back of cottage only down side was the mattress was uncomfortable but took topper every thing else was spot on lovely family that own it left bottle of wine and Welsh cakes on arrival also bought us new pillows and pillow protected and pillow cases as we needed more how lovely was that can't recommend this place enough a hidden gem oh and also garden lovers go to the hidden gardens beautiful and excellent tea room with harpest value for money

The only negative was that there is no information regarding for example, waste collection.

Some information about the local area would have also been useful. Very peaceful location.

This was our second stay as we just love the cottage and surrounding area.

Lovely cottage!

Very clean, spacious, quiet and comfortable. We stayed with our well behaved dog and it’s a great base to visit places and then chill in peace and quiet. It was much appreciated to receive some wine and welsh biscuits on arrival and then Glynn popped round with some fresh eggs. Which were lovely too! Loved the stay Very much and would stay again.

The cottage is located in a lovely quiet peaceful area not far from Beaumaris and a beautiful Peaceful spot near the pilot house just down the toll road.

The cottage was spacious and well equipped and ideal for the dog. The owners were lovely and made us very welcome. Enjoyed having the horses located just behind the cottage. Thank you

The barn was bigger than expected.

Beautiful location and great walks nearby. The sun shone all week which was an added bonus! It was our first visit to Anglesey and we'd definitely be coming back.

The property was amazing and location was perfect for a peaceful holiday with a good variety of walks close by.

The hospitality of the owners was among the best we have experienced. The wine and welsh cakes were a great welcome however the fresh farm eggs and potatoes left outside we’re so thoughtful and welcome.

We live not far away from this property and just wanted a short break with our dog the property net all expectations was clean comfortable and cosy and warm ideal for the dog and being tile floored very did friendly as the weather was very bad while we were there Owner very helpful and friendly

Brilliant location, owner popped round to check everything was ok on first evening and when we had a slight problem with the underfloor heating he came and sorted it straight away.

The cottage was stunning with all the home comforts you could wish for and even got some christmas goodies on arrival. Will be going back very soon .

such as satellite/ cable TV. A dishwasher a coffee machine , minor things which are fast becoming ' normal' items in modern living. Ditch the videos and paperbacks.

It had everything that you could possibly want. The owners were really friendly and I enjoyed watching the horses walking to their stables when I was in the kitchen. Can't wait to book again!

We have had a wonderful week at this fantastic cottage.

It is well located to visit the east side of the island and a very comfortable well equipped cottage to return to at the end of a day out. The owners are welcoming and on hand if you need to speak to them. The bonus of this cottage is that dogs are allowed which meant our little terrier dog had a great time too. Thank you to the owners for providing such lovely accommodation, we will be returning.

com, so we didn't get the full description, the cottage is very large, the steps going down need highlighting as its all black tiles and could easily be missed (we have told the owners), large kitchen, great shower, greeted with bottle of wine and welsh cakes, nice location Towels were hard, no shower mat, only 1 toilet roll, no soap or anything supplied, bathroom downstairs, so you need to go down from bedroom if needed. Extra pillows would be nice Could do with a few supplies to start you off, milk, coffee, tea, sugar

The ONLY thing was the bed!

Owner very pleasant.

Main room very gloomy in afternoon - had to put lights on even on a sunny day. Unable to sit on sofa as extremely soft but found bed comfortable. Excellent shower. Whilst we were aware that cottage backed on to stables we were not aware of how close they were - virtually right outside the kitchen door. Horse noises disturbed our sleep on several occasions. However, we did enjoy our stay although we would not use this cottage again. We would prefer one of the others with bathroom facilities on the same level although we were well aware this was not the case at Cwt Blawd. This was our first visit to Anglesey and will not be our last.

When we arrived the bed was half made and when we asked for the bottom sheet they took a long time to deliver it.

The bedding was not ironed. It was very creased and crumpled. It smelt strongly of cheap washing powder. The mattress, duvet and pillows had stains on them. We went and bought all new bedding to use while we were there. The towels were provided. Our dog has better towels than those. They were old and hard.The mattress was extremely hard and uncomfortable. It is a beautiful location and with some attention to detail this could be a fantastic holiday accommodation.

The cottage was brilliant a wow factor the living room was very large It was truly a lovely place to stay the owners were very nice and friendly We hope to see them next year !

I am not usually a complainer but I feel incredibly let down by this.

Bed was incredibly uncomfortable, creeky and it was not a kingsize bed like it says in the advert. The pillows were terrible, still have a sore neck. Could not lock front door from the inside. so had to go outside the back walk all the way around and lock it from the outside. First night we stayed could not figure it out so had to leave door open which was really uncomfortable and did not sleep very well. Completely overpriced for what it was. feel incredibly ripped off. Asked for two nights and had to pay for three.

Lovely place pub and shop are well over a mile walk pub is about 2.

5 mile walk but this dod not stop us going out walks are really great

The only little we had was that the settee and cushions we feather .

.....not good for an asthmatic but apart from that it was splendid. Loved the shower !

It was the first time I had been to Anglesea.

I thought it was a wonderful place, everyone we met were very friendly. I would definitely return in the future.

The owners were very welcoming, friendly and most helpful.
