The accommodation was brilliant, fully enjoyed our stay.

My only recommendation would be to have some accommodation/ area information, for example outside bins which is for what item. We are aware that Wales bin restrictions are different but with no information we was unsure which bin dog waste could go in.

Beautiful property, clean, tidy, a real home from home experience. Very comfortable, relaxing and quiet. Near local shops, pubs and other amenities. Good dog friendly walks and beaches in close proximity to the cottage. I would certainly recommend staying here. It will not be long before we return. Thank you, Sue, Kevin and our dog Luna.

We loved our time in this cottage.

It’s so light and spacious with lots of room. I particularly loved the kitchen with everything we needed provided. It’s in a lovely area, close to lots of lovely beaches and pretty little villages to visit. Not sure what we’d use a large dog crate for though. We come on holiday with our dogs to enjoy being with them….. We’ve already booked for next year.

We had a wonderful stay here, such a lovely cottage.

A bit tricky to find at first but it was perfect as we were in the country but still close to Morfa nefyn. There is a fantastic pub called Bryncynnan which was great for the kids as there was a play park outside and it is dog friendly. The cottage had plenty of space, very clean and tidy. There was a toy box which my children loved. There was plenty of cleaning supplies provided and kitchen extras like cling film and foil. There was a fantastic dog cage outside too. Would definately come back to stay here again. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

It’s a lovely very spacious property lovely garden for the dogs to safely be out On first entering all was very clean but main bedroom does have mould on ceiling and above window obviously this is a health issue and needs sorting

Maes Y Coed is a lovely place.

Very high standard of decor,very clean with plenty of comfort and space. Very peaceful and quiet,and a great place to" get away from it all". The Bryncynan pub a few minutes away is a must.Great food and Very welcoming. Perfect location to explore the Lleyn Peninsula .Would stay there again.

The property title is inaccurately listed as Morfa Nefyn rather than Ceidio, which involves a trip through Edern by road and is 1.

8 miles. We were very happy with the property itself, very clean and everything a family of four could need, we couldn't fault anything except the neighbour! The neighbour came over just after we had had dinner on our first evening as we were heading out in the car to Morfa nefyn. He told our son and daughter who are 13 and 11 to stop kicking a football on his garage door.. my kids did not go anywhere near his garage door, all they did was play in the small back yard which one of the boundaries is his garage. They kicked a light volley ball against the wall once or twice whilst they were playing volley ball but that was all and if it was a problem why didn't he talk to them in the 2 minutes they were outside for!! He wouldn't let us speak was very rude and then said "enjoy your holiday". It did scare my children and they never set foot in the garden again. Apart from that wonderful holiday cottage in Wales.

Everything was beautiful kept and absolutely a must for any family to enjoy the beauty of the area, would definitely recommend.

Really enjoyed our short break at the cottage, only issue to report was the tv playing up and no hot water otherwise fantastic and hopefully will be staying again

Terrible dog smell on entry into home which didn't improve during stay, dedpite airing.

When we uses the hoover in living room it dragged up a lot of white dog hairs, which was apparent it was not done before arrival. Toilet broke during visit, clearly needs fixing as it was reported as an ongoing issue with pipes, not from flushing unflushable items.. Blaming previous visitors is in poor taste. Neighbour extremely helpful, who assisted with toilet issue and fixed kitchen tap l.ble, chairs and bathroom floors sticky. Stained cushions in kitchen.

Great cottage and spotless clean, well equipped and the extras ie tea bags, coffee, sugar and milk really appreciated

Nice comfortable cottage with everything you would need.

Great location for exploring the area. One minor quibble was the front door lock was quite stiff and took a bit of force to open/close. Enjoyed our stay though and would definitely recommend.

Had everything we needed.

A few niggles but comfortable.

Once we worked out how to put the radiators on, it was a warm, spacious and comfortable place, well equipped in the kitchen (although a wooden spoon and full-size cafetiere would have been useful). The niggles didn't affect us overly after the first night: - Internet access was slow (about 1Mbit/sec) and unreliable - we're used to it but many people won't be. - The louvres on the outside of the two bathroom extractor fans clattered in the wind so we had to tape them up overnight so my wife could actually get to sleep in the main bedroom. - The twins beds weren't particularly comfortable but apparently the double was better. - The heating wasn't on when we arrived and we couldn't figure it out until we eventually found the manual the next morning after a rather cold night. (We arrived late and wanted to go straight to bed.) - There were no general instructions for what to do with rubbish & recycling, when to put it out, etc (We did find a bin outside at the end of our stay, though.) A summary for using the heating would also have been useful. - It would have been helpful if the listing had said that the place was in Ceidio rather than Morfa Nefyn. (Yes, I know that you can look at the map but still ...)

Maes Y Coed is a lovely spacious holiday cottage with everything you need included, for a very relaxing comfortable stay.

Enclosed side garden for the dogs to stretch their legs. Lovely views out of kitchen/side lounge window. Very comfy sofa and bed and it was in a nice and peaceful location. We had a really nice relaxing 3 night stay.

The property was as advertised, it was clean, comfortable, warm and had parking for two cars.

We wanted a quiet break away for a week and that's what we got. I think there are four other properties on the complex and it was easy to find following the instructions given once booked. You need a car as there are no footpaths nearby but we knew this as we know the area well. It is a good base to explore the area from. We would book again.

The property is beautiful and in a stunning location.

Friendly and helpful neighbours too. The cottage has lots of wonderful amenities such as towels, cooking equipment, dog bowls, ironing board, DVD player and games cupboard to name a few. It would have been lovely to have known about some of these in the information before arriving there and discovering them due to unnecessarily packing equipment that was at the house. However, the stay was lovely and the cottage is decorated beautifully. Thank you ever so much for a lovely stay

Lovely bright, clean and comfortable bungalow with everything you need for a home from home stay.

Set in beautiful countryside with views of mountains and fields galore. Not too far from shops and attractions but far enough to enjoy the tranquility of beautiful Welsh countryside. Owners were lovely and helpful.

Superb holiday cottage.

Very comfortable and clean. Conservatory is excellent. Smart tv would have been a bonus. Part of a group of cottages which looks like they were part of a military camp or something of that sort. All done up beautifully with very pleasant surroundings. Will definitely be going back.

The exterior of the property was dirty and needed painting.

The beds were very low and soft - not comfortable for older people. The sofa was soft and needed covers on, so they could be changed easily. The interior of the property is very spacious with a huge well equipped kitchen. The property is in a beautiful area with plenty of places to visit.

A lovely cottage tucked away in a quiet corner just outside Morfa Nefyn.

We were pleasantly surprised to find the cottage had two bathrooms, the listing only mentioned one. The cottage was spotlessly clean and had everything you need for a holiday. There is Wifi but no smart TV so I would recommend packing a couple of DVD's just in case. The only thing we missed was a couple of chairs to sit on in the garden. There is a bench but something more comfy to sit on would have made the cottage perfect. That said, we would happily visit Maes Y Coed again and would recommend to all.

We booked the whole cottage which sleeps 4 my sister was staying on Anglesey and would have liked to spend a couple of days with us but the 2nd bedroom was locked.

If only two people stay then the price should be adjusted not lock off rooms will not stay again and will not recommend.

Perfect holiday cottage with all the amenities you could wish for to enjoy your stay.

Cottage was very nice, newly updated kitchen, en-suit and bathroom were excellent, and the new radiator system worked well.

The lounge however lacked comfort, the sofa is very uncomfortable, too soft and too deep, I used seat cushion from the conservatory set as back support. Not all renters are young and agile! The carpet at door edges was frayed and could cause a trip hazard. Main grumble for me, we had our dog with us, the grass had not been cut and it was very difficult to find and clean up the poo!. A mop would also have been useful to be able to clean the vinyl of paw print.

The cottage was a very clean a thoroughly modern bungalow in a quiet rural area of Wales.

Furniture and fittings were very new and therefore in excellent condition. It was taste fully decorated throughout and made for a comfortable stay. A few things could of been added to make it perfect, but otherwise no complaints. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the Llyn Peninsula and would consider returning to this really beautiful area. Pwllheli was a nice little town and lovely beach, but we also visited Porth Or and Aberderon a few times to enjoy walks and the spectacular scenery. Would also recommend a meal at the nearby pub of Y Bryncynan, the quality was excellent.

We loved our week at Maes Y Coed.

Lovely peaceful location. Lovely big living room and great conservatory. Great new kitchen and bathrooms with everything we needed for the week stay. Everything was immaculate on arrival and correspondence was good when we had a question. Great location for exploring all the beaches and local areas. Only thing we would personally like improving is the mattresses, however the bedding was nice quality, and the towels.

This was a beautifully furnished and equipped cottage.

The fact that the window with a clear view was obscured by a high hedge meant there was no view when the website promised it. A request to cut the hedge was ignored. The bed was much too soft for us and dipped in the middle. Despite these we enjoyed our week.

Had a fantastic stay at this quiet and well maintained holiday house.

Would certainly recommend as a base for exploring the surrounding area.

cleaners didn't arrive until 5.

30, after we had arrived. Not sure how much deeper cleaner was done as hair was left in shower and bin in bathroom not emptied. Drink cans left on windowsills. Kitchen chair cushions were grubby with foodstains.

A great base to explore the beautiful and varied coast of the Lleyn Peninsula.

Very spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. Heating very effective, which was important in November.

Great location for visiting local area, only an hour from Menai bridge.

Lovely decor in bedrooms, lounge, hall and conservatory. Garden bigger than expected. Disappointing to see bin bags of kitchen etc waste piled up by the shed. Could of done with a knife in the kitchen for cutting loaves, sandwiches, pizza etc. There's nowhere to store food in the kitchen other than the worktop- maybe some of the excess pots and pans or glassware and mugs could be taken away to make space for guests. The wardrobe in the twin room is too full of extra bedding and a blow up bed- we couldn't hang up clothes in it. Some of the attraction flyers are very dated - 2007 etc, they need sorting through.

The cottage itself was lovely and clean.

The local people were extremely kind, friendly and helpful including the lovely neighbour. The sceneries were beautiful beyond words. It’s a perfect retreat to chill and relax. We had a wonderful time. Thank you very much.

The cottage had everything in it you could possibly need, very clean and tidy, in a great position for discovering the many beaches and lovely villages, if you are into walking there are lots of wonderful coastal walks to do, you’ve even got the highest peak on Llyn not many minutes away, if you like peace and quiet you will love this cottage, highly recommended.

The cottage was spotless and comfortable and was ideally located with a beach only a 7 minutes drive away.

We particularly liked Whistling sands a 20 minute drive. The owners were easy to contact and so pleasant. I would highly recommend this lovely cottage.
