Tyn Y Celyn Canol

This property was everything we could have wished for.

The rooms were spacious, very clean and contained everything we needed and wanted. Beds were very comfortable and the views breath-taking. When we arrived a full tray of eggs waited for us, as well as some milk and (much to the delight of my son-in-law) half a Victoria sponge. Ruthin is the nearest town, only a few minutes drive away. It contained everything we needed (Tesco, and petrol station). As we went out sight-seeing every day, we didn't explore Ruthin closer. My daughter and son-in-law loved the hot tub and used it daily. Overall, an absolutely perfect place and I can't recommend it enough.

Lovely place to stay, views were incredible.

Not too far out of town. The only thing to note that there wasn't enough crockery/cutlery for more than 1 meal so we had to wash up each time or run a half empty dishwasher in the morning so we had plates for a meal in the evening. Great place for star gazing and watching meteor shower.

We all loved the home.

The owner made us very welcome and was very² helpful. We would stay here again. To give constructive feedback there were a few things that needed maintaining or replacing. This would have then given 5 stars. Again we thoroughly enjoyed our week.

The cottage was amazing.

Everything and more with lovely owners too. Views are spectacular.

Great property.

Owner/ host extremely polite and helpful during the stay. Highly recommended

A beautiful cottage in a fantastic location with the owner of the cottage on site to make sure everything was perfect for our stay.

Nothing was too much trouble. If you like peaceful, this is the place.

A beautiful property set in a gorgeous countryside location.

The home was equipped very well, and the very gracious hosts provided milk and eggs and extra goodies all very much appreciated. Would absolutely stay there again if we returned to North Wales.

Absolutely stunning!

Amazing views! Warm and cosy , beautiful place! Hot tub was great. Owners couldn't do enough for us! Thank you so much for a perfect couple of days away! See you soon! Will definitely be returning

Bruce and Catrin made us very welcome from the start of our break.

The cottage was decorated all ready for Christmas for us beautifully. The welcome pack which included lots of eggs from their chickens was very welcoming. Then on Christmas morning Catrin presented us with chocolates, biscuits and Prosecco for us to enjoy. We certainly made use of the hot tub overlooking the stunning views of the valley. The house was beautifully and tastefully decorated, with comfy beds. The kitchen and utensils where more than adequate which where fully put to use on Christmas Day. Overall an amazing an amazing stay in a beautiful cottage which we would highly recommend

It was absolutely perfect.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The host was lovely and helped us feel welcome. Even helped us navigate our way there after it had snowed. We would love to go back and have told all our family and friends about the cottage.

The cottage was outstanding!

From views to having everything you'd need. Mrs Jones checked in on us and even left us some goodies ( chilled wine, fudge, cake, fresh eggs and even milk in the fridge!). We had trouble finding the entrance and tried to call but there was no signal in the village, next minute Mrs Jones appeared, so we could follow her back . So thoughtful !! The cottage was extremely comfortable and a lovely size for the five of us. Hot tub spotlessly clean as was everything! we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it! See you next year !

Absolutely stunning property, lovely and peaceful, gorgeous views.

Owners outstanding very helpful left lovely fresh eggs and cake Would definitely return

Incredibly beautiful property built to a very high standard set in breathtaking hills of wales.

Sitting in he hot tub watching the sunset is an amazing experience that will stay with me. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the property to friends and family. The hosts were lovely and left us with fresh eggs and other food which was very welcoming.

Well appointed cottage with great views that can be enjoyed both from the hot tub and upstairs in the second lounge.

Lovely host was very welcoming, providing free cake and fresh eggs. Also replaced a scratched non-stick pan for us when we pointed it out.

Lovely cottage, owners onsite very helpful and approachable.

Lovely and clean, would definitely recommend.

Absolutely loved our stay such a beautiful house in a beautiful location.

The owners are amazing cannot do enough for you. Will definitely be returning in the near future

The property was lovely, the view amazing and the facilities just what we needed for a girly get away.

The welcome cake and fudge were a delight. The owners were also very helpful in helping us locate a local pub and came to check on use once we arrive and before leaving. I would recommend highly to all.

Lovely cottage, great location, attentive hosts.

What more can you ask? Superb long weekend away.

Catrin was so lovely.

Nothing was too much trouble, even topping up the hot tub on xmas day. She added lots of extra touches to make the cottage Christmassy and bought us gifts on the day.

Beautiful clean cottage, everything was catered for, home from home, the host was lovely and always had time for a chat, lovely scenery, rainbows everyday!

Definitely worth a visit

Great property and very friendly owners.

I would highly recommend this property. Thank you for a great stay. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The cottage was fantastic.

The views were amazing. Red kites and buzzards flying overhead while in the hot tub was a beautiful site. A very relaxing week with a generous host.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage in a lovely location.

The cottage is well maintained, comfortable and felt like home. We cooked most days during our stay and the kitchen had everything we needed. The owners are lovely and they welcomed us with fresh eggs, cake and left milk in the fridge - a lovely gesture. I am very much looking forward to going back for another peaceful and relaxing holiday. Thank you for this lovely place to stay you made our week an incredibly special one.

Fantastic week in this beautiful converted cottage with wonderful views across the valley.

Every conceivable comfort was catered for by Catrin our host who also supplied a lovely ‘Welcome pack’ as well as a never-ending supply of eggs! We would highly recommend a stay and would love to pay a return visit!

The cottage was absolutely gorgeous.

So homely and we loved every minute of our stay. The views were amazing and we miss the place already. The boys loved having a room of their own with their own ensuites. The cottage had everything we needed the owner was so lovely. We couldnt have asked for a better place to stay.

Absolutely lovely property.

Well equipped to a high standard with everything you need for a great holiday. Set in a lovely part of Wales with some stunning views and easy access to the coast and many North Wales attractions. The Owner is very friendly and helpful and is on hand should you have any enquiries.

The cottage is fantastic, as described and more.

The Owners could not have been more welcoming or more helpful. We felt they went above and beyond what was expected. Unfortunately we all had coughs and colds during our stay but would love to go back again when we're healthy, to take full advantage of the amazing location and wonderful cottage. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and beautiful views. The kitchen was well equipt and the cleanest we have ever encountered, the beds were extremely comfortable and the showers excellent - the owners left us an amazing welcome pack which was unexpected and very much appreciated.

A fabulous cottage, immaculately clean and finished to a very high quality throughout I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone thinking of booking!

We had a lovely break enjoying the gorgeous views from the hot tub and having quality family time before a busy month ahead. The hosts were exceptional, everything you would want in a cottage was catered for and a really nice touch leaving eggs, wine, tea, coffee and cake. We can’t wait to come back again!

Divided the week up into a 40th birthday celebration weekend for the girls and quiet, relaxing few days and the cottage was perfect for both.

Well equipped, comfortable and roomy…and so peacefully quiet. Would thoroughly recommend for a family getaway, romantic break or a get together with friends. I know I’ll be going back again.

What a fantastic holiday home, so clean and built to a high standard.

Catrin was very hospitable and made us feel so at home. The cottage had everything we needed. The eggs, wine and cake were icing on the cake. Looking forward to going back again.

Lovely properties and lovely owners in Catrine and Bruce, you get a feel for the place upon arrival and the atmosphere was very relaxing and we had the distinct impression that nothing was too much trouble, if we needed something they were ready to assist, if you wanted to be left alone that was completely fine as well, Cottage was warm, super clean and had everything we needed, special mention goes to the welcome basket and the motivation for giving it, we holiday regularly in Wales and we have never received, wine, fresh cake, fudge, milk and a huge tray of free range eggs!

.. Think that goes a long way to explaining how considerate the owners are, and how much stock they put in keeping thier guests happy, we will definitely be back

We absolutely loved our stay here, the views are amazing, the cottage is beautiful, it's almost like the pictures don't do it justice, it's so light and airy, the owner is lovely, she left us a lovely welcome pack, the eggs were delicious, it was so peaceful, and brilliant for sitting out at night with a beer looking up at the stars, we can't wait to go back

We had a lovely stay at Tyn Y Celyn Canol.

The owner, Catrin, was very friendly and helpful, and left some lovely welcome gifts for us to enjoy. The house was lovely, a real home from home and the views were great. Lots to do in North Wales too. Definitely recommend this accommodation.

Such a special cottage, absolutely stunning views and really nicely fitted out.

We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and would love to return, one day.

Amazing stay!

! Beautiful views & setting, you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere but there's a local shop 2miles away and Tesco is 10minutes drive away. The home itself is beautiful, on arrival we'd been left wine, cake, eggs, fudge, teas&coffees! So thoughtful, amenities brilliant. Washing machine & tumble dryer - washing powder too. A bbq in the court yard had briquettes & everything needed to have a bbq too! Just amazing stay, couldn't fault it. We'll be back!!

Owners are amazing.

Cottage is best I have stayed in. Will 100% return. Loved every second. The views are spectacular. Hot tub nails it. Amazing stay.

What an absolutely lovely place.

Found last minute. The owners are such lovely people and the bottle of wine left on the side went down a treat whilst sat in the hot tub. Greeted with free eggs on arrival was lovely. The kids enjoyed watching the sheep and lambs running around in the field next door. I honestly can not recommend this place enough. Thank you so much for such an amazing weeks stay.

From the ease of booking to the little welcome treats the stay was wonderful nothing was to much trouble and we had everything we needed.

This was a lovely, comfortable, well-equipped cottage, with a great view - especially from the outside hot tub.

We had a fantastic time, just relaxing with the occasional scenic walk. The owner was very helpful and extremely hospitable. She had left some welcome goodies for us on arrival - wine, locally-produced fudge as well as tea, coffee and milk - and eggs! Two dozen delicious, double-yolk eggs! Thank you!

Thank you so much to Catrin Jones for making this an unforgettable experience!

! We had such a wonderful time, and she was the best host. She made sure we had everything we needed, and she gave us great tips, as well as show us the farming life of Wales. We couldn't have been more happy with the living arrangements either. The space was perfect and we instantly felt at home. The beds were comfortable, linens provided, and the hot tub was wonderfully warm with the perfect view. Already planning to come back again!

The house was spotlessly clean and well equipped throughout, the hot tub was used daily. Only an hour to Liverpool, 45 mins to Chester Zoo and 45 mins to Snowdonia, a great location for all pursuits. Excellent hosts and lots of nice touches on arrival, especially the (very) locally sourced eggs.

Holiday was great , but your links on my account , “ more info , things to do “ etc .

Just came up with “ this page has expired “ no longer available . So bit frustrating . Other than that booling through Sykes was straightforward .

Great Christmas break at this property.

Received a very warm welcome from the owner Catrin who looked after us throughout and even had the house decorated with a few Christmas trimmings to give it a festive feel (kids loved the lights). Very peaceful location with great views from the hot tub and only a short drive to Ruthin. Also went for a nice family walk at Loggerhead country park which was only 20 mins away. Overall a brilliant break and didn't want to go home, we'll definitely be back!

This is the nicest cottage we have ever stayed in.

Everything was perfect- it was absolutely immaculate, and the cottage itself is finished to a very high standard with lovely furniture. Each room had its own bathroom and it was great having a downstairs bedroom for a disabled family member. The cottage has two lounges, one being upstairs with a log burner, with lovely views across the hills, and the other is part of the open plan kitchen and dining area- it has reclining sofas and chair which was great for chilling out. The views from the cottage were stunning, we loved the position of the hot tub as it was perfect for shooting star spotting at night! We had a fantastic week and we will definitely be booking again for next year, as well as recommending to others!

Absolutely gorgeous cottage, lovely owners who make you feel very welcome and are there if you need anything!
