"Lovely house in a great location."
No extras like loo roll, salt or washing up liquid, so bring everything. Only half size dishwasher. Clean and comfortable. Garden and stairs are not the most child friendly.

"Perfect house and location."
We have just returned from a wonderful week in Crecceith. The house is beautifully light and with Good size rooms and facilities. It’s so quiet and peaceful and you have a view of the sea and castle from the front of the house.
It’s 5 minute walk to the seafront, shops and restaurants nearer. Crecceith has everything you need for a week. Good restaurants, cafes and pubs. Train station if you want a change of transport and great walks on the costal path from the house.
Only negative would be couldn’t find a prop to open the sky lights but otherwise everything perfect.

"We had a fantastic stay at this property and thoroughly recommend it, both for its location and internal presentation."
There were 3 of us and we appreciated the additional WC. The beds were somewhat soft, which wasn't great if you suffer with your back, and for a summer stay we found the duvet too hot and the window coverings too basic, so the light came streaming in at 6am. Despite this, the property is one of the best we've stayed in and very well maintained, and we will certainly be back.

"We loved the property it was fantastic."
Great location and wonderful views from the property. Our only niggle was we found the beds to be very low, this only bothered us because of a lower back injury!! But on the whole we had a lovely holiday. Thank you.

"Property is in great location for local amenities whilst still being close enough to other areas to visit."
Loads of space (only a family of 3). Bedrooms are all a good size (we only used 1). Nice to have up and down stairs toilets.
Kitchen is okay, but it needs to have more work tops and storage. Only 1 free cupboard to store food.
All in all a very nice property but could do with a few tweeks and it would be perfect.
Thank you very much for a wonderful stay

"Lovely house with great views and a fantastic location."
The listing needs to be amended though - there are not two king sized beds - there is one (very squeaky) king sized bed, one double and one set of twins.
Hi Vicky, thanks for your feedback. I’ll ask for this to be amended. Apologies for the squeaky bed, it had been newly installed and some of the bolts hadn’t been fully tightened. This has been rectified. We hope to see you again.

"The house was great, cleanliness above and beyond."
It had everything we needed on a general basis and each room was lovely. Great location for walks and driving to other places, great views. I would come back again.
The only problem for us was that the beds were creaky so when we moved we woke each other up so didn't sleep very well. This is easily remedied and wouldn't stop me returning. Could do with a washing line in the garden too.
Hi Anna, thanks for your feedback. The bed had been recently installed and a few of the bolts hadn’t been tightened. This has now been rectified, we’re sorry for any inconvenience caused. I’m glad you were happy with everything else. We hope to see you again soon.

"Nice recently renovated property in a great location in Criccieth, and very clean upon arrival - looks exactly like the pictures."
Only gripes were the lack of bedside lights in two rooms, a particular drain smell in the downstairs toilet and a very stiff bedroom door which had to be shoved to close properly. Could also benefit from some additional storage space. Be aware that you may not get parked directly outside the property, but generally plenty of spaces on the surrounding roads. Slight lack of kitchen utensils etc. but appreciate this may be due to COVID-19. Could not find the laundry bags you were supposed to put linen in at the end of stay - suggest this is left in rooms for arrival, and also state what you are meant to do with the disposable mattress topper.

"COVID 19 Holiday!"
!! Change of scene from usual four walls. Only reason we went in the end.
Having spoken to one of your reps we were told that check in and out had changed for deep cleaning!!. This property had not been deep cleaned at all. On entering the property there was a strong smell of disinfectant and a thick layer of "dirty" dust on the skirting board in the entrance porch. There was dust on all skirtings and large cobwebs in the downstairs WC with spiders. There is also an extractor fan in this WC which does not work. Not sure where the vent goes and there does not appear to be an isolator switch. We were asked to remove disposable pillowcase covers (did not use pillows as we took our own). Also to remove bedding and place in the laundry bag provided. This was to include fitted sheet, duvet cover and mattress protector. There were no mattress protectors on any of the beds!!! Something which should be standard and changed anyway. There was very little in the way of kitchen utensils and crockery etc, notices provided stated that items had been removed due to the current pandemic. There was no TV or DVD recorder in the bedroom as stated in the details. Also as this is a family orientated cottage there was no plastic crockery etc for kiddies. No small glasses for adults either. A DVD player in the main lounge area would have been useful. The TV was not tuned in to BBC so used our account to watch iplayer. There were only 2 mirrors in the whole of the property (sorry 3 1 fixed in the bathroom). A large mirror at the bottom of the stairs and a small mirror in the small twin bedded room. No mirror in the master bedroom. Nowhere to hang clothes in the twin bedded room. For a cottage which sleeps 6 only 2 small wardrobes. Get the distinct impression this cottage was renovated and stuck straight on the market for rental
Bathroom has a skylight which if you dont have tall members in the family cannot be accessed. There was no broom to sweep the kitchen, nor a laundry basket and nowhere to dry clothes outside a clothes airer is provided but obviously outside this is quite unstable and not ideal. The whole of the outside of the property was very dull and uninviting. The yard was quite unkempt. Provision should be made by the owners for all rubbish to be removed from the dustbins by the "cleaning company". The large dustbin was quite full and is only emptied once every 3 weeks. It is therefore up to the people in the property after us to put it out on Monday. This needs to be dragged down an alleyway to the rear of the property back to the front courtyard area which is not ideal. Family had also booked a cottage through Sykes, Menai Collection which was different again. Their check in and out had not been changed. There was a abundance of kitchen utensils etc. etc.
We have booked through Sykes before and have returned to a cottage in Cornwall on many occasions booking direct with the owner. That too is a 4* property.
