Lovely 4 storey house with fabulous views from the top bedroom!

Great location a short walk to the beach and high street. You are literally on the criccieth train line so handy for days out, you also do hear the trains right outside from about 7am but it didn’t bother us much. It wasn’t spotlessly clean but it was generally very good, the biggest let down was the BBQ which was absolutely filthy and we spent over a hour trying to clean the top plate only to find it didn’t really work as the flame kept dropping out ( perhaps out of gas??) either way it was a real disappointment after buying all the meat and doing all the prep to have to cook in the oven. The top over doesn’t appear to work too well, it’s either full heat on or off completely. Also the shark hoover kept malfunctioning with the back falling off and all the dirt dropping out and there was no mop which would have been useful. There is hardly any cleaning supplies and only 6 dishwasher tabs, 5 rolls of toilet roll left for 6 people for a week which meant we had to go shopping for basic supplies which we felt was abit disappointing when spending nearly £2k for a week. The house is nicely furnished and the beds were comfortable and we really enjoyed sitting on the balcony with a cuppa in the sunshine. The rear has a small patio which was ok but very basic, plants were mostly dead ( we did water and try to tidy them up abit ) and we found it not that welcoming a space esp with no working BBQ. We had great weather whilst we visited so enjoyed visiting all the local beaches and restaurants. And the high street is beautiful and eclectic. It’s a good solid base for a nice holiday and the bowling club across the way was so friendly and inviting for a game or two as well as a small pitch and put. Useful to have parking and an EV charger on hand if needed. Also the TV and games console was a hit in the garage. Overall a great week and we would return.
