Very quaint cottage with lovely views it was very relaxing 25minute drive to Talaca

Lovely little place tucked away for privacy but close enough to the main routes to travel all along the coastline.

Well stocked with everything you need and the hosts were very welcoming and on hand to help if needed. Lovely little garden to sit out in with the birds looking out over the estuary. Will definitely visit again!

Steve and Cindy are friendly welcoming hosts , always available but never intrusive. The cottage is ideally placed to explore N Wales and the Wirral. So many wonderful places to visit with excellent road access. Had a fantastic time in a clean cosy little " home from home"

Dolphin beach was a lovely, cosy place to say, a great base, for the wonderful places around, and stunning views over the estuary.

A very pleasant cottage, nicely situated, well appointed and comfortable Ideal for two people.

Sadly it is let down by the garden. Tiny but with the potential to be charming it has been neglected, with the lawn now shaggy, unkempt grass. The shrubbery to the sides.is overgrown and mostly blocks the view across the estuary. Strongly suggest the owner looks at the picture of the on line listing to see how attractive it could be. At present it presents a depressing aspect...

Lovely cottage.

Minor issue with boiler which was quickly sorted. Garden was a bit overgrown and needs cutting back to make sitting outside more appealing. Was going to rebook only to find (surprisingly) the owner has now put on a pet supplement.

Had a mid-week break at this lovely cottage , the owners introduced themselves on arrival and answered all our questons on the local area , the cottage was all we hoped it would be with everything needed for our stay , not able to use the wood stove as the weather was very kind to us and not able to book again for December all booked up , was brilliant for exploring this area of North Wales .

Will hopefully visit again in 26 and has been added to our list of saved location to stay .

The cottage is lovely and in a wonderful place.

But the bathroom lets it down and there was food left by the previous tenants

Had a very comfortable week.

Everything there we needed. Had a massage with Cindy would recommend.

INFORMATION AVAILABLE AS TO WHAT WHERE EVERYTHING IS ANYWAY, ALONG WITH COPIOUS I FORMATION OF PLACES TO GO THINGS TO DO AN EXCELLENT SELECTION OF READING MATERIAL. PHONE SIGNAL ERATIC WHICH WAS PERFECT FOR ME, INTERMITTENT WIFI AVAILABLE VIA A HOT-SPOT. ACCOMMODATION WARM EXTREMELY CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE.

Dolphin Bach was everything we expected, a little bolthole, in a perfect place.

Steve n Cindy are a lovely couple, n made us very welcome indeed. We arrived in a tidal wave of rain, so the starter pack for log burner n hot drinks n biscuits were soo welcome. The view from French doors is perfect, loved feeding the many greedy birds in the garden. Lots of lovely places to visit, n none too far away either. The dog loved wild beach for a good run. Local pub very friendly and a huge bonus, just up the lane. We will most certainly return. Thankyou. Carolyn, Martin n Mars the lurcher.

Just had a week at Dolphin Bach and had a great time there.

The cottage was beautiful and very clean and the garden was just what we needed for our dog Shep, also the view across to the sea was amazing, had a lovely welcome pack on arrival and the hosts Cindy and Steve came and greeted us with a very warm welcome. We are looking to book for next year. Would recommend it to family and friends. Jennifer and Graham

This was the perfect little place for a getaway with my dogs.

Great location as well, easy to drive round and explore different places. Would highly recommend. Myself and the doggies thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely be looking to come back again in future. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Lovely little cottage with great views and a great location for visiting everthing in and around that both North Wales and North West England

Had a great week, the cottage has everything you could need including a very comfortable bed, the sofa and recliner were also comfy which for us is a big plus!

The garden, while quite small, is dog-proof and has the most wonderful view, changing constantly with the tide. It also has the greediest little sparrows ever! Steve and Cindy are great hosts, very friendly and helpful. Holywell is close enough to be convenient but far enough that you feel out in the country. The local pub is good and within easy walking distance. I would recommend Dolphin Bach to anyone wanting a relaxing break.

Lovely cottage .

Beautiful area, hosts very friendly a few minor issues patio door wouldn't open properly needs attention. Birds getting stuck in wood burner flue which we managed to release at least six during our stay But apart from that a very relaxing stay, the garden view is amazing and bird feeders were a bonus it was so nice sitting watching the birds .

Property was comfortable and clean if a little small.

The garden again was small but dog proof, well tested by my little terrier. The owners were attentive without being overly so. It's well situated for visiting various sites in North Wales. The downside was the road noise from the busy A road nearby and the property itself is a bit tired (broken tiles in the wet room, broken freezer door).

Fantastic cottage with an amazing view, very clean and tidy.

Easy to follow directions provided by the owners. Great couple who own the cottage and they are close by for any help and also a good chat. Great afternoon surprise when a lost continental 40 foot lorry got stuck up the narrow lane and he couldn't get out, the police and very large tow truck had to get involved to remove. It really made my day. Some great places to visit and eat out. Hopefully booking again as my wife, me and our little Rosie the dog thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Owners are a Very nice couple who live nextdoor nothing is too much trouble if you need anything, the cottage is small but very compact, all you need is in there, milk in fridge on arrival and a little welcome pack, the view from the garden was lovely and there was a pub within walking distance, only one little issue the lovely french doors were very hard to close as the doors had dropped a bit, would definitely recommend, a big thank you to Steve and Cindy.

We had a wonderful week at the cottage, very welcoming host Steve and Cindy, everything you needed and lovely views highly recommended it was are second holiday there in 8 months and looking forward to our next one, excellent location for getting out and about with plenty of information John and Jan

Beautiful cottage all on level very friendly and helpful owners, Cindy provides lovely therapies, will return.

This was a lovely little cottage with a beautiful view across the Dee to The Wirral and beyond over the Mersey to Liverpool.

Good place to stay with easy access to the main roads to travel in either direction on the North coast. Sadly the owners had been called away so we never met them but were greeted by a relative of theirs. Only downside was a dripping shower which I am sure could easily be fixed.

We had a lovely stay!

The wifi connection was solid in the lounge for streaming. The owners were happy to accommodate our veganism with their welcome pack. We hired Cindy for massages as she is a licensed (and very skilled!) practitioner. We took easy short trips to Talacre beach (gorgeous) and to Chester for Shrub - one of our favourite all-vegan pubs. Chocky - our labrador - loved the garden and the beach. Cindy and Steve were lovely and helpful. I'd recommend to anyone this cozy little cottage!

Great cottage and location.

Unfortunately we didn't have great weather! There is no DVD player (despite being in the description) and as the TV wasn't a smart one we struggled to find anything to watch in the evening. The very close pub was great for Sunday lunch but didn't do food on other days. Internet was great to start with but went completely for the last 2 days. The lovely wet room could do with some grab bars near the shower and a higher mirror for anyone not short!

We had a lovely holiday, such a cosy and well located holiday home.

Only gripe was lack of wifi but I understand that will be fixed soon!

Had a fanstatic stay, thank you so much for having me, the place was cosy, well equipped and with great views.

The near by town wasn't too far and had plenty of cafes and shops etc. I did find that being without a car meant walking on roads at times to get there. This was fine for me but something other foot passengers might bear in mind. Certainly wouldn't do it at night. Would visit again and maybe avail of the massages next time too. Thanks.

The welcome on arrival was warm and friendly .

Nothing was too much trouble for Cindy and Steve , and a massage from Cindy was an added bonus. The cottage was very clean and extremely homely and had everything that you would want for a holiday . The welcome pack was a lovely thing to do and there was lots of information brochures of places to visit, They views were indeed incredible and at night the lights from Wirral shone bright. I very much enjoyed my stay at dolphin bach and am looking forward to my next visit in June

A lovely welcome from Steve and Cindy, a lovely cottage well presented, with everything you could need for your stay very comfortable and cosy, wonderful view from the garden, nice and secure for our dogs to enjoy, would recommend for a quiet relaxing stay and ideal base to go out and explore the local areas with plenty of information on days out and places to eat,hopefully will return in the summer, thank you for a wonderful holiday, John and Jan

Lovely stay in spite of the rain and mist!

Not having WiFi was mildly inconvenient but everything else was perfect. Comfortable accommodation. Friendly and helpful hosts. Every amenity available. Cindy did a fabulous session of reflexology/foot massage and is extremely knowledgeable about all things holistic. The wealth of birds coming to the feeders was astonishing for a townie like me. Plenty of sightseeing opportunities. I am keen to re-visit. Many thanks.

Dolphin Bach proved to be the most perfect accommodation for myself and my dog on our two night stay in North Wales recently, and I definitely hope to return, only for longer next time!

It was welcoming, cosy, comfortable, peaceful and well equipped…indeed, every thought and attention to detail has gone into ensuring a relaxed and safe stay was had, and it was greatly appreciated! Private parking for my vehicle close by. Secure, enclosed, little garden area attached to the cottage for my dog. Lovely patio area to watch a wide variety of visiting birds to the feeders, or French windows overlooking, when the weather conditions were too adverse for sitting outside, and a delightful view of the estuary and surrounding countryside too…along with the grazing cows one morning, as they made their way through the field across the lane. Binoculars and information packs detailing nearby attractions and walks / beaches / places of interest / nature reserves etc etc were most welcome along with the thoughtful ‘welcome pack’ of goodies…always appreciated after a long journey! Exploring the beaches and coastline was a delight, despite torrential rain, at times, as I knew I could return to Dolphin Bach and dry out, relax and enjoy a peaceful and undisturbed nights sleep each night… Relaxed, ‘slow’, mornings to start each day…breakfast and coffee watching the birds…and cosy evenings, with even the use of a wood burner, if needed! A ‘wet room’ shower was ideal for my needs, also. The hosts were ‘on hand’, should any problems or issues with the accommodation arose (which they didn’t)…but it was nice to know they were there, if needed, and a nicer, kinder, more welcoming couple would be hard to find! A brief, but refreshing and relaxing stay…thoroughly enjoyed by both myself and my dog! Thank you.

We had an excellent holiday here with our 2 dogs.

The property is in a great location, very close to a lovely, friendly pub as well as being close enough to the North Wales Expressway to make getting around very straight forward. There are some great local places to walk the dogs, in woods, on beaches (plenty even in summer) as well as country parks. The accommodation is cosy and whilst the kitchen is compact, it was easy to cook in. Having all of the basics like cleaning equipment, salt, pepper and sugar are also really helpful. The hosts were very friendly and were super keen to make sure that we had an excellent stay.

Great stay, very clean and everything is there you need only downside is the WiFi issue.

Although it states that the WiFi is touch and go, we couldn't even get a WiFi connection at all unless you go to the owners property next door. So it's a bit misleading that the WiFi it touch and go.

Perfect cottage, perfect hosts, loved the welcome pack.

Cottage has everything you need, watching the birds feed daily in the gorgeous garden. Ideal location for exploring Norrh Wales plus Liverpool etc. Cannot say enough about this cottage. The information left in the cottage is fantastic to be able to make the most of your stay. Watch the sat nav directions ! Follow the directions with your bookings.

What a beautiful stay.

Dolphin Bach is located in an ideal spot to go exploring, and not far to travel into snowdonia. The property was very clean, secluded and comfy and the hosts were very warm and welcoming.

Steve and Cindy were so welcoming , the cottage is beautiful and has everything you need for your stay .

The welcome pack was a lovely touch. I would definite recommend the cottage .

Rural location with easy access to road network for exploring the local areas. Good local pub, again with friendly staff and providing hearty pub food.

A gem of a cottage, private , good facilities and welcoming hosts.

Limited wifi but it states this in the details. The view of the estuary is lovely. Lots of things to do in this region. Thank you for making us welcome - and Cindy is a holistic massage therapist too.

A perfect, well equipped cosy cottage with beautiful views.

The hosts were lovely, very welcoming and helpful! All in all we had a most wonderful holiday. Close enough to a fabulous beach, the Talacre beach that is also dog friendly and lovely trips to Yfonwen antiques, Conwy and Llandudno with Great Orme.

Very secret hideaway, lovely and quiet. We visited numerous places and venues to eat whilst there, the cottage is pretty central to many places of interest. So great situation as a base. We had a lovely well deserved break. Cindy and Steve are a lovely couple. If you do visit Dolphin Bach, take advantage of a treatment with Cindy, you will not regret it, very relaxing and beneficial. Lovely comfortable cottage with fantastic view.

A good area for touring North Wales. The cottage has everything we needed with a nice welcome pack. All the rooms were a good size. The enclosed back garden was ideal for sitting in the sunshine and enjoying the view and ideal for the dog. Cindy and Steve are a lovely couple, very welcoming and very helpful. We have had a very relaxing time we would book it again.
