11 South Snowdon Wharf

Overall Experience After spending the last week at 11 South Snowdon Wharf, we are very happy with our experience.

We have stayed here many times before, so we are very familiar with the layout and the facilities provided. Since our last stay in 2024, we noticed several changes to the appliances in the complex, and these improvements were very helpful during our stay. Minor Drawbacks If we had one small criticism, it would be the lack of shaver points in the bathroom. This means that anyone using electric toothbrushes or shavers needs to bring plug adapters and charge them outside the bathroom. It is also a great relief that we no longer need to bring our own bed sheets or towels. That said, the non-fitted sheets were a little inconvenient. However, I plan to bring bed straps next time, so that should make things easier. Overall Recommendation All in all, we have had a pleasant and comfortable stay. We would happily recommend this place, especially to railway enthusiasts, and we would be more than happy to return again. I would personally give this accommodation a 4.5-star rating.

We have stayed here several times and were pleased with the latest upgrades. South Snowdon Wharf is an excellent centre for a holiday.

This is not our first visit to Number 11.

We worked out that we have been enjoying this property for about ten years and probably longer than that, but you lose track of time. The apartment is spacious, well equipped and clean. It is close to shops and a variety of eateries from restaurants to pubs. Close to beaches, mountains and forests for walks. We have a dog so it is lovely to have access to a property on this side of the complex with such outstanding views that allows dogs. We have already started to look at booking for 2026. My only request would be further heating available than the oil radiators as it can get very cold in the living room in the winter.

I don’t want to rave about this place as it will become too popular and we might not be able to book it again!

A lot of thought has gone in to the layout of furniture of the house and is much appreciated. Fascinating location which is constantly changing with the ebb and flow of the tidal estuary. Level walk to the town with all it has to offer. Really enjoyed our stay. Thank you. (Small problem sorted out very quickly by Sykes, which did not affect our stay)

Well, what a holiday home this is!

Superb views of the cob, vintage train station, Harlech and the estuary. There is an abundance of wildlife to be seen from the spacious balcony. Double bed was really comfortable and the kitchen had everything you needed to cook a meal when you weren't eating out. The property is close to several nice restaurants and pubs that all serve very good food. We recommend the australia, thai harbour and marina la cuchina. We booked for a 7 night stay and we will definitely be returning. The WiFi and sky TV made it entertaining even when the weather was awful. Thanks for having us.

Our third stay in this apartment, well equipped, updates to property were welcome.

Still a slight smell of damp in downstairs bedrooms and wardrobes. The television stopped working on Thursday, reported it to Sykes who said they would send someone round on Friday to fix it but nobody came and nobody called back despite saying they would. My partner is disabled and spent quite a bit of time there so it was very disappointing that nobody came to fix the tv or even phoned. But overall a very enjoyable week in a beautiful place, the views from the balcony are outstanding

A very comfortable apartment, lots of facilities.

Not wanting to be negative but felt a little 'lived in' in places, (e.g. kitchen shelf holding the microwave oven wasn't secure). A clearly placed information folder / pack for wi-fi etc. would have been helpful. However the property was in an ideal location and we would readily stay there again.
