The cottage is in a beautifull and lovely quiet valley with stunning vieuws from the windows.

We could make lovely walks right from the cottage. Its on a small dead-end road with hardly any traffic. The cottage is comfy and very clean. We loved the woodburning stove but you've to bring in matches, firelighters and wood yourself. We stayed 2 weeks so we cooked meals ourselves, make sure you bring your oil, milk ,spices etc. Shops in Porthmadoc in 30 min drive. We appreciated the warm welcome of the owners Caroline and Paul.

We could not recommend a stay at Melin Bach more.

It is an absolutely wonderful base for some escapism and peace after a busy day exploring the area but well located too to make the most of exploring lots of North Wales and a climb up Snowdon. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.
