Description

Llandudno 3 miles.

A delightful, Grade II listed 18th century single-storey cottage, set in an elevated location on a quiet lane above Penrhynside, with stunning views over Penrhyn Bay. This Llandudno cottage is a superb retreat for romantic getaways and activity breaks in North Wales. Set next to the owners' home, this Llandudno cottage offers peace and tranquillity from the moment you arrive, with a spacious bedroom with exposed beams and a super king-size bed. The sitting room continues the traditional character of this Llandudno cottage, with exposed beams and stone wall, and a woodburner to keep you warm in the evening after a long walk along the coast. The fitted kitchen is well equipped and offers seating at a breakfast bar from which to enjoy the sea views. Outside there is a sun-soaked patio area overlooking the valley. Accessible hilltop walks can be enjoyed from the doorstep of this Llandudno cottage, with beautiful views from the top over Llandudno and Conwy bays, Snowdonia, Anglesey, and even the Isle of Man on a clear day. This is a superb, quiet Llandudno cottage getaway, yet only a short stroll to two CAMRA award-winning pubs in the centre of Penrhynside, making it an ideal location to enjoy any time of the year.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful location.

Couldn't fault it inside or out. The drive up is a bit tight but owner gave helpful instructions. Would go back.

A beautiful cottage in a gorgeous location.

The views are amazing. Loads of things to do nearby, the local pub was very friendly and served great pizza’s. There are great walks on the doorstep. The cottage was very clean and comfortable, really enjoyed the stay. A part of the road to the cottage is very narrow, only 2m wide, but we parked in the village with no issues and it’s only a short walk to the property

The cottage was at the top of a hill and although the views were lovely we found it very difficult to manoeuvre our car up the narrow lane and to park up.

We were nervous about the potential to scratch the car which we had only purchased 4 days before our visit. We experienced flooding from the shower which the owner fixed very quickly. The lounge was very dark and unwelcoming. Overall we enjoyed visiting the area but would not book this cottage again. We would recommend the Penrhyn Arms which has a great atmosphere and good food.
