This property certainly has the “wow” factor being beautifully presented and spotlessly clean throughout.

The house, gardens and plentiful parking all add to making a stay there a very enjoyable experience. A local bus service into nearby Chester plus a CoOp store down the road are a bonus. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending the property to anyone who is looking for accommodation in that area. I was able to meet the owner living nearby who was very pleasant and helpful. As the property met all our family needs so well I will no doubt be booking it again next year if not sooner.

So impressed with cleanliness of property in a quiet area, edge of countryside with walks from the property.

We were delighted with the cottage.

It was well equipped and comfortable. There were four of us sharing, but it would comfortably accommodate 6 adults! The accommodation was well set out with plenty of furniture and storage. There was ample parking for three or four cars on the driveway. The location was quiet with a lovely garden, but the weather did not allow us to sit out sadly, until our last night! The cottage is well placed and we were able to get a bus every half hour into town with ease (bus stop just at the of the lane) l ran the half marathon and we were very close to fiddlers lane where they route passed through the village! My parents and partner walked along fiddlers lane to the junction of the main road, just before the Wheatsheaf pub and were able to cheer me on as l passed by twice! We found wonderful places to eat in Chester and took the train for a day trip to Liverpool. We would all recommended the cottage to explore Chester and nearby places of interest. It's about 45min drive to the coast. We appreciated the biscuits and wine on arrival. We would highly recommend this property for a stay based close to Chester and for visiting many places of interest. A very cosy and welcoming cottage for a comfortable and memorable holiday. Very nice base for exploring Cheshire, North Wales and Merseyside

Beautiful house in a peaceful location.

It is spacious, plenty of room for 6 adults, the kitchen in particular has lots of cupboards. Good location for access to Chester and we were able to easily get to Liverpool on the Merseyrail train.

We came back for a second Christmas at 4 Green Farm Cottage and weren't disappointed!

Very spacious and comfortable.

The accommodation and location amazing however the cleanliness of the kitchen let it down!

. We had to clean all utensils etc and the grill pan. We also though toilet rolls were included but only half rolls were available and for a party of 6 we had no option to buy our own. I couldn't find a hairdryer which we also though should have been available. The beds extremely comfortable and also a very quiet area.

The cottage was very good but the wooden floors need cleaning properly. Great sitting out areas, patio or lawn, perfect. We would definitely recommend this to others and we would book again in the future.

We enjoyed the stay - this is a very spacious property, beds were comfortable, great shower, nice gardens to sit in, spacious parking, good location/base However, had to clean fridge on arrival because of black mould; compost bags need to fit relevant bin; and we had to clear up three successive "raids" by fox/cat on outside bin during the week, so perhaps needs another look?

This is a great place to stay- comfortable, spacious and very clean.

Parking is excellent. The situation is perfect, being very close to Chester, North Wales and Liverpool. The cottage is very well-equipped and the welcome basket was much appreciated. We couldn’t fault the cottage really, but it would have been very useful to have had extra instructions/information for the central heating/hot water system. I was especially pleased by the fluffy towels provided- all too often one is provided with well-worn and raspy towels - not here! Great place.

This was a very nice property, clean and tidy, well-appointed and well-located for going into Chester and day trips to Liverpool, Manchester and the North Wales coast.

There are no photos of the kitchen, which we found odd, but it is a nice kitchen with everything you need, other than wooden spoons! Would recommend this house, you won't be disappointed.

Lovely place for a family stay close to Chester excellent bus service to the city.

The nearby Ness Botanic gardens are a wonderful experience. Thoroughly enjoyed our time there and the owner as very helpful.

Well positioned and maintained cottage.

Very clean and comfortable. Very friendly hosts. There are some fantastic cycle ways in the area which are well surfaced ( eg straight through Chester off road and cafe at farm just outside Mickle Trafford, 8miles there and 8 back). Bus stop at bottom of lane for Chester, good half hour service. Good take away Asian and god local pub with simple but good menu. Co-op store in village. Recommend National Boat Museum at Ellesmere Port. Ideal holiday place for Chester and the Wirral

Clean, comfortable house set in a lovely quiet area.

A nice touch by the owner providing tennants with a bottle of wine chocolates and Doritos

Well maintained and ideally placed for local transport, used local bus at the end of the street in to Chester would highly recommended this property for a relaxing break.

We very much enjoyed our stay at 4 Green Farm Cottage which was warm and comfortable.

The cottage is spacious and has pretty much everything that you need. Having a dishwasher was good, but it was easy to have used all the cups and plates and cutlery meaning a half full dishwasher needed to be used. The owner Jenny was great and sorted out replacement bulbs in the shower room straightaway. She also told us about the bus stop at the end of the road with a half hour service to Chester. This was great as we did not need to use the car and find parking in the city. The last bus from Chester was 19.35 which suited us fine. Would highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay over the Christmas period, and really appreciated the festive touches (especially the tree!

Great cottage, great location and great facilities - made a perfect base to explore the Chester and North Wales area.

Welcome pack is always a great site when you open the door and small touches like a basket of local attractions and walks gives some great info for those staying. The Chinese restaurant / chippy at the end of the road was a great bonus. We'd definitely book again

Cottage was very conveniently located, for visiting places, and friends.

Situated in a pleasant setting, easy access to main roads, and a convenient shop, just along the main road. Basket of goodies and milk, very much appreciated. Only thing missing was a hoover. Very likely that we will revisit, and book this cottage again.

We had such a lovely weekend break.

The cottage was immaculate and the facilities superb which made it very comfortable. We loved all the furnishings which were both tasteful and practical. The parking and gardens were also excellent. It was very easy to find being just off the M56. We were able to get a local bus directly to Chester city centre which took about 20mins. This was great for us because it meant that there weren’t any parking issues, On our way home we stopped off at Cheshire Oaks Retail Park which was only 10mins away. I would give this property 10 out of 10 .

Lovely clean big house - we really enjoyed our stay here.

The welcome pack was very nice and the owners checking what we needed beforehand as we have a baby was appreciated. The garden was nice to relax in in the evenings. We watched Netflix in the evening and the central heating kept us warm. The shower was powerful and easy to control temp. Very good location for the zoo, aquarium, Cheshire Oaks and Chester. Also situated in a very nice village with a local park, pub and co-op.

Plenty of parking, and we very much appreciated the extra welcome pack from the owners. Ideal location for our visit, went to Liverpool, Cheshire Oaks and Chester Town and zoo during our stay. Have already booked a return visit. David

Visited Cheshire for a few days and this was a great house in a brilliant location.

Just a short drive into Chester and the Zoo and easy to get to surrounding areas, including Ellesmere Port (Cheshire Oaks). House was clean, modern and comfortable and perfect for our family of 4 with 3 double bedrooms and spacious kitchen and living areas. Situated in a quiet village with a handy Co-Op within walking distance and a short drive to Hooton train station for an easy and quick trip into Liverpool. Easy to get to local restaurants and pubs and Chester for eating out. Would definitely stay again and recommend it.
