Ty Haf

Lovely and homely.

It had everything we needed. Living room was great for kids, and snug was cozy for dozing after the beach. Stones throw from beach and corner shop. Safe cul-de-sac. Would absolutely book here again, very reasonably priced.

Had a wonderful 3 nights away for the new year!

After a little confusion with the booking dates (totally my fault, I arrived a day early!

) the lovely owner went above and beyond to have the accommodation ready for us (luckily for us, the previous guests had left early). The place is a tardis. It's huge. The photos do not do it justice. There's a downstairs toilet, huge lounge, kitchen with every utensil necessary and a table which seats 6, utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher and freezer then a beautiful sun room/snug extension where we spent most of our time with some updates since the photos were taken (new furniture etc). There's a small courtyard to the rear with patio furniture. 3 bedrooms upstairs (2 double, 1 twin) the master bedroom again being huge with a beautiful little balcony with a small table and 2 chairs. Plenty of wardrobe space/storage. The bathroom has a bath and free standing shower with great water pressure. The accommodation is fabulously located just 5 minutes from the beach and an array of restaurants, bars etc but beware on the walk home. The street doesn't seem to have any street lights so is pitch black. Take a torch! (Not the main street, just the street you turn into where Ty Haf is located). Very dog friendly with food/water bowl and even a spare lead and collar. I would have no hesitation in recommending Ty Haf and have already made enquiries to return next year. A truly hidden little gem

We had a lovely stay.

We spent most of our time in the room at the back as the sofa was more comfortable and the room was lovely and light and airy. I don't think you could get Netflix on that tv or I just couldn't work it out but it was lovely being able to sit outside and read instead. I think it had it on the one in the main lounge but we just preferred being in the one at the back. I would love a room like that. It was in a great location for walking to both the Sea Shanty and Driftwood for food, the latter has become our go to as you don't have to be out before 18.00 with a dog. I recommend booking at both. The bed was extremely comfortable in the main bedroom. I did have to dry my hair in the twin room as I couldn't reach the plug socket near the mirror in the main bedroom due to its location. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

A comfortable house, very spacious and quite well equipped.

No hairdryer though and we had to go on YouTube to find out how to set the cooker. Great to have a dishwasher and washing machine in the utility room. Bed felt a tad firm but that’s a personal preference, nothing wrong with it. Hoping to book again next year xx

Enjoyed our stay at Treadur bay.

Property is great, suited my family only missing a hair dryer and instructions for the cooker. Would recommend it to all my friends. Location perfect but the bay is VERY windy. Good places to eat. Thanks to the owners.

We had a lovely stay at Ty Haf.

The house is well equipped, very clean, comfortable and set in a quiet spot. Just a couple of little niggles - the sofas in the sun room were very low and we had trouble getting on and off them which is a shame as it's such a light and airy room and the side wall outside was quite low so we couldn't let the dog out on his own in case he escaped. The house is well situated for all the attractions of Trearddur, our favourite place on the island. Overall a very pleasant stay and many thanks to Gwen for letting us book at such short notice.

It was a late booking for a few days away. House was perfectly described and very comfortable. Everything you would want from facilities and just a 5 minute walk to the beach. Would highly recommend.

The property is great, bigger than the photos show.

We didn’t spend much time there but had everything we needed & was clean. We all commented how comfy the beds were too. Owner was great, even getting back to me whilst on holiday, thanks so much. We would definitely stay here again ☺️

We had a fabulous week at Ty Haf.

We quickly settled in to the house, especially the large and oh so comfy sofas. The kitchen diner was of a good size and we lacked for nothing with the kitchen utensils. We rarely used the rear conservatory which was lovely, but opted for the sofas in the front room. The bedrooms were a good size with comfy beds and it was so nice to have a bath. In summary a superb holiday home in a very popular seaside resort. Thank you.

Enjoyed our stay at Ty Haf.

Property is generally well equipped although the can opener could do with being upgraded. Snug sun room is a positive feature - despite the low sofa being a challenge to get up from if you have hip or knee mobility issues - compact back patio is a welcome sun trap. Bathroom has been modernised and provides the the option of both an efficient walk-in shower or bath with shower head available. Especially useful if you have children! Furniture is dated & living room dark but as we didn’t spend any time in it not a major issue for us. Visitors information needs updating as some of the recommended eating venues are no longer trading but generally helpful in providing trip options. Felt at home here & well worth considering staying here for families/ friends with or without children and dogs. If you have mobility issues it is a relatively steep hill to the beach and amenities.

Owner was very responsive to queries. Some info in property folder needs updating, but not a problem. Would be happy to stay here again.

Dirty kitchen which we just dealt with as didn’t want to seem petty.

Left the house as we found it. A week later Sykes/owners alleged we had left stains on the carpet which was untrue. Sykes notified us and immediately deducted money from our bank account despite us disputing the allegation and raising an issue as to the delay. I felt double aggrieved due to the dirty kitchen but when I raised that they said I didn’t raise it at the time. The same rules clearly don’t apply to owners. They took no action about the dirty kitchen and simply ignored my messages. I waited before posting this as I wanted to give them a chance to respond but they clearly don’t intend to. Very poor service. Shame as the property is in a wonderful location. Wouldn’t use or recommend again.

Beach around the corner. Good parking. Spacious.

Perfect location.

Easy to find. Lovely home. Pictures don't do it justice. Larger than it looks. Beds comfy. Sofa might not be modern but it's beautifully comfortable. Adequate parking. Yard good for dogs. Easy clean up behind them. Perfect stay.

A Very clean and comfortable stay , near the bay and easy access to village shop and restaurants , I would definitely recommend and I will be back soon
